Trouble making breast slider compatible clothing (1 Viewer)

I've taken a stab at trying to figure out how to convert old static clothing to have breast slider compatability but I'm running into issues.
I have the necessary tools (JPEXS / FFdec, Animate, Inkscape) and can successfully replace or directly edit existing outfits after following the tutorials on here, however I can't find any that fully cover the process of making morphshapes for the slider. As a result all I can go on right now is taking a slider-compatible outift and trying to overwrite it with the old outfit. The process is incredibly slow and usually the positions of certain shapes is off so it just doesn't swap well.

Does anyone have any suggestions or documentation that might help? I'd love to port some of the older static outfits to be more up-to-date but I'm struggling here.

As far as I know, there is no tutorial apart from Konashion's Top Tutorial (§ Advanced tops).
It would be hard to make one, as it is a lot of trial and error (with a lot or errors).
From my experience, it is incredibly time-consuming, and unless you know very well how tweens work, you'll probably consider drawing the 150 frames one by one instead of using tweens.

Whether you use motion or shape tweens, polygons with more than six corners are very difficult to handle in this case, because not only do the shapes have to look good, they also have to fit the breasts.

Try with very simple shapes for a start (like the base game t-shirt in Example.fla found in Konashion's template SDTMod.fla), as the closer the outline is from the breast, the more chance the breasts or nipples will pop out.

It's not a surprise that there are so few breast slider adjustable mods, given the time they require and the trouble they cause.
If you are new to creating SDT SWF mods, you have undoubtedly chosen one of the most difficult tasks there is. Unless you have extensive knowledge of Animate, it is best to try your hand at creating simple mods first, as the learning curve is extremely steep when it comes to breast slider adjustable mods.

By the way, forget about JPEXS and Inkscape, they are useless for this task.

I hope someone else can give better advice on this subject, because I would also like to get some.

Honestly this has given me a lot to work with already, thank you! I also hope more advice gets shared around too. I was pleasantly surprised to see how recent your own tutorial topics were. Having a more recent contextualization of all this stuff saves so much time.

If you're serious about making something with breast slider compatibility. I'd recommend watching a quick tutorial on tweening for adobe animate. Learn what keyframes are, symbols, motion tweens, shape tweens (what the breasts use), etcetera. Looking at the tutorial in the modding template is also extremely helpful, also looking at the example shirt in Kona's "ExampleMod.fla". Afterwards, just try applying those basic skills to creating a little bouncing ball animation. Total time might take anywhere between half an hour to an hour, depends on how quickly you catch on.

Then just try making something small, see if you can make a tween for the breasts between keyframes 51-71 since that's likely the most common size for breasts, or keyframes 2-51 or 51-101 for a little more challenge. Just do a simple outline of the clothes over the breasts to see what it does, then fill it with color later. This should make more sense after a tutorial video or two.
