Can anyone tell me where to find the keys.swf file? I don't seem to have one, and can't figure out how to change the keys.

I want to get more out of the game.. how do i use this?
i am not asking for a referral to the guide, i am asking what i do after i unzip the thing. everything on this website is above my head. i am a true layman. can't get characters/hair/bg to save and the .swf version of the game stopped running in firefox. i just get a download dialogue box (what do you want to do save or run program? click run--> ...save or run?--> save or run?). i can use the .exe but very basically, almost no modding.
in desperate need of help. is there a guide anywhere that doesn't assume i've taken at least a HS level coding class? i don't know a damn thing about anything and as soon as you thrown in any jargon, i'm beat.

I don't get the in-game loader-bar on the right hand of the screen,
or anywhere..

I did download the mod manager, but decided to use the manual way.
I made a map in the mods folder, did all i had to do,
put the folder like: folder:folder in the mods.txt
Then I put everything in, in there I made another mods.txt,
with all items in there (was wondering if .mod files also work this way)
and I start game, it doesn't show the menu.

So I think, Ok, may be the mod manager,
I start it, I find my char in the list. (didn't even make it thru the mm)
Try again, still nothing.

Can someone please tell me how to install it right or something?
I tried a few things, should be all fine,
what am I missing here?

I try to open the Mod Manager.exe but it just keeps saying "Place in same directory as mod folder".
What can I do?

I open loader.swf but get an error message saying "Error loading SDT.swf"

What am I doing wrong?
