xTera Patch 1.6.1

Due the newest patch in NA Tera (Patch 25.05) the old Pointers stop working, at least for me.
I did a quick fix using search functions instead of pointers.
This release should work without problems, you can download from here. Or main post.
It's a provisional measure, im looking for new Offsets at the moment.

Verified it is not working. Yet to be expected with a big patch i guess. Love this mod though.

I tried 1.6.1 and my characters head was shrunk way small and in the program menu the head address stayed 0 but the other addresses did read and change. Oh yeah in the console it read trying to change head size to 0. Thanks again for your great work.

Upon further trials this new version does not read current addresses for head & arms at least with all my characters. I am wondering if it would be possible for you to post a version without head or arms? All the other current addresses are reading correctly. Thank you in advance.

I'll introduce the option to enable/disable individual components, plus of course a more stable method (in a config.txt file or something like that).

This version uses a search function, nice to hear it works for you; but this release has some limitations, like open xTera, change base breast value, close and reopen, it'll not find the value because is not the same value. But i think that's all.


At the moment, im still searching the new offset, but, i'll introduce a config.txt file, that allows you to choose between methods, in that case, i would apreciate if anyone of you can help me doing this (if r1.6.1 doesn't work for you):
1) Open your game and stay in Character Selection Screen.
2) Open CheatEngine and associate Tera process.
3) In the Value textBox, insert 1065496905
4) Click on First Scan
5) Send me (in PM or a reply in this thread) a screenshot and the address

No more "Problem detected" message, and if you see it, it'll be easy to fix and no need to do a new release for that.

hello, i've tried your program, and i do get the problem detected message using the version 1.7, any ideas?

They did a new patch for Tera NA. The Seach method should work, but if not, you can do this:
Search for the value 1065496905 usign Cheat Engine in character selection screen, after the search, look for the last value (usually FCXXXXXX where X = Any HEX number) copy the address and put it in Direct Search Area in Options menu (xTera). Restart xTera and it will try the new value.
I'll provide a new offset because they scrub the last one, this new release has the necessary logic to handle this kind of problems, just change search range, use new direct addresses or a new offset.
The best method is that, search with Cheat Engine and put the address in the list.
Again, the developers of Tera NA like to do "random" patchs that scrub everything, xTera 1.7 was released because of that, any change they do, can be solved without a new release ^^

Hey..well, I tried the program, and I got the same error. I have Elins. Not sure if I want to get yet ANOTHER program..IE Cheat Engine. Too confusing. Is there a way to update xtera to fix that, or does it not work on Elins at all? Thank You.

xTera was working fine until this morning for me. I keep getting problem detected in the search. They must have done a random patch. How can i fix this?

Hello mxjzm.
I downloaded your program, and ran it as written on manual.
I ran xTera before running Tera client, but during the character selection, xTera couldn't find the Tera Client's process.
Even I entered the world with my character, it didn't find my Tera process.
It keeps saying 'status : Not Ready'

Is it already blocked? Or cuz I'm not player on EU/NA?

For all those people who still get Problem detected message, i'll give you a new working offset (copy and paste in xTera's options panel) and a quick tutorial to make it work always (Even with Tera developers's love for patches, it'll take no more than 1 minute).

First time i heard that problem, can only be because you're not on EU/NA maybe the process name isn't TERA.EXE and thats all...
If i have free time i'll do a new really quick patch to allow you to change Tera's proccess name, keep looking this thread.

That's so weird. Cuz, my client's process name is also "TERA.exe".
I think it's not problem with cilent, but with program.
When I ran it, I couldn't select any process with 'Process Information' category.

My OS is Win7 64bit, so I ran it with Administrator Privileges, and also ran Compablity Mode with WinXP. But it couldn't find any process.

Well i have notice this changer effects all players and not just your self. is it possible to just make a option of chaining everyone else vules back to default after you comferme the chance or something like that. just a idea
