I am going to ask the archetypal question of all novice CE users. Can you provide links to tutorials that teach me how to calculate offsets in this game. I've tried to reverse engineer the pointers you gave me, and I am having no luck.
Most of the pointer tutorials at the CE forums aren't helping much. In fact, they are rather discouraging.
Any materials you started with when you learned how to calculate the pointers would be a big help.
1. I know how to do scans.
2. I know how to find and edit the dynamic memory values to change the shape of body parts.
3. But when I do a "what writes to this address" or "what references this address" I got lost on the proper method for a follow on scan.
4. As a resort, I usually disassemble static memory ranges, use hex calculator, look for interesting values, and change them to see what happens. Its total trial and error guesswork.
Thanks
