Stupid question about the mod loader, apologies in advance... (1 Viewer)

I looked around (perhaps not hard enough) but I couldn't find anyone talking about saving characters with mods active on them. Can you do it? And if so, is the character with the mods only viewable in mod loader? Or can you use her in the main game?
Again, sorry for the noobie questions, but I couldn't figure it out on my own...

Not possible to save modded characters using the built in save.
Use character folders.
