Re: Mod.fla template v0.7

That's already in the code, actually. One for each object, even. The hands unload, but the forearms and upper arms don't.

Re: Mod.fla template v0.71

Well, I'm not sure ModGuy changed in the loader algorithm, but the arms unload now. *Yay!* Also, the new version of the template includes code to change the transparency of a particular default object. Which means that it should now be possible to make mods that are smaller than they should be.

EDIT: Okay, the arm layering issue should be fixed. That leaves the "arms:back" and "his" components...

I was going to do ModGuy a favour and have a look exactly how easy it is to make outfit mods, but I find myself stuck in the CS5 era. Could you release a CS5 version as well?

Re: Mod.fla template (14 Nov 11 - v0.8)

I think I've run into a bug, or perhaps I did something I wasn't supposed to. I've put a sleeve in the newupperarml movieclip, but it doesn't initially appear when the mod is loaded. I have to set her arms from Behind Back to another option clicking the right arrow for them to appear.

When I click all the way to the right to Loose, then back left to On Her Legs it will become stuck on this option.
If you keep clicking left she will have her arms on her back again, but the setting still says On Her Legs.
When I click back to the right again, the arms disappear.

All code involving the var q6 has been uncommented. I've commented the part that makes a component invisible, so I can keep the original arm and basically just have the clothing pasted over it for the arms ( but that doesn't appear to be affecting the left arm).

Edit: It doesn't happen with the q6 code commented, so it's specific for the left arm. The right works fine.

Edit edit: I assume I need to use the newnipple movieclip to make things that grow and move with the breasts, but everyting in this movieclip appears behind the breast. What to do to make it work?

Arms change layering across the timeline so bugs are normal.
For edit 1: Try "main.her.leftArmContainer.upperArm.foreArm.addChild"
For edit 2: Try:
Code:
main.loadCustom(".her.torso.midLayer.rightBreast","");
main.loadCustom(".her.torsoBack.leftBreast","x:67;y:4;r:0;a:1");

Re: Mod.fla template (14 Nov 11 - v0.8)

Well, I got ninja'd by Modguy while typing up a response. He said pretty much everything I was going to, but as a bit of clarification:
ModGuy said:
For edit 1: Try "main.her.leftArmContainer.upperArm.foreArm.addChild"
The original form of that line was to ensure that the upper arm, forearm, and hand layered properly. As I assume you won't be changing the forearms or hands, you don't need to specify a layer, so
Code:
main.her.leftArmContainer.upperArm.addChild(q6);
should fix things.

Also, I think the arms actually use different objects when set to the back position, but I don't know Flash well enough to figure out what they are. Either way, this template generally will not like that arm setting. *shrugs*

Code:
main.loadCustom(".her.torso.midLayer.rightBreast","");
main.loadCustom(".her.torsoBack.leftBreast","x:67;y:4;r:0;a:1");

That worked, just need to fix my placement, but the objects don't change with the breast slider anymore. I changed .her to .|Her like everything else.

Current code:
Code:
	main.customMC=new newnipple();
	main.loadCustom(".|Her.torso.midLayer.rightBreast.nipple","x:0;y:0;r:0;a:1");

	main.customMC=new newnipple();
	main.loadCustom(".|Her.torsoBack.leftBreast.nipple","x:0;y:0;r:0;a:1");

I'll test the other thing.

Edit: fixed code above. Maybe I was just blind, everything is in order.

The left behind arm mod won't appear when initially loaded, but the breakings arm bug is gone. It's barely visible to begin with, so I'll take it.

Code:
	var q6 = new newupperarml();
	q6.x = 0;
	q6.y = 0;
	q6.rotation = -30;
	main.her.leftArmContainer.upperArm.addChild(q6);

Re: Mod.fla template (14 Nov 11 - v0.8)

One thing for your consideration: I'm using the newnipple clips to create clothing that covers the breasts. To slightly better looking cleavage (f.e. Kona's default bra) it would be better to have two different clips for each breast/nipple.

I've created a separate clip for myself, but perhaps in future versions you may want to include this.

Re: Mod.fla template (26 Nov 11 - v0.86)

This template is nice, it took me some time to figure things out and now I´m actually getting results. :)

One question though: I want to draw a swimsuit with different cupsizes, how would that work?

Re: Mod.fla template (26 Nov 11 - v0.86)

That much is clear but what would be the next steps?
I´d hate to draw everything and then not get it to work...

Added code to lock and unlock breast size.

Is there a way to get his function into something made with the older template?
I tried to copypasta the whole code but that didn´t work out well.

Re: Mod.fla template (26 Nov 11 - v0.86)

The relevant code:
Code:
if (this.parent.parent != null){
	main.her.addEventListener(Event.ENTER_FRAME,fixbreast);

//stuff

	main.her.removeEventListener(Event.ENTER_FRAME,fixbreast);

}
function fixbreast(e:Event){
	main.g.inGameMenu.loadData("breasts:80");
}

Re: Mod.fla template (26 Nov 11 - v0.86)

I´m using the new template but I can´t get the forearms to work.
The graphics always show up behind the forearms, what am I doing wrong? :-\

Do I have to unquote
Code:
main.registerToRemove(q3);
for the right forearm or not? It doesn´t seem to make a difference.

Re: Mod.fla template (26 Nov 11 - v0.86)

I didn´t really change your code, I just unquoted what I thought was relevant for the arm:
Code:
        var q3 = new newforearmr();
	q3.x = 2;
	q3.y = 135;
	q3.rotation = 91;
	main.her.rightForeArmContainer.upperArm.foreArm.addChildAt(q3,
	  main.her.rightForeArmContainer.upperArm.foreArm.getChildIndex(main.her.rightForeArmContainer.upperArm.foreArm.hand));

	var q4 = new newforearml();
	q4.x = 2;
	q4.y = 135;
	q4.rotation = 91;
	main.her.leftArmContainer.upperArm.foreArm.addChildAt(q4,
	  main.her.leftArmContainer.upperArm.foreArm.getChildIndex(main.her.leftArmContainer.upperArm.foreArm.hand));

	var q5 = new newupperarmr();
	q5.x = 0;
	q5.y = 0;
	q5.rotation = -30;
	  main.her.rightArmContainer.upperArm.addChild(q5);

	var q6 = new newupperarml();
	q6.x = 0;
	q6.y = 0;
	q6.rotation = -30;
	main.her.leftArmContainer.upperArm.addChildAt(q6,
	  main.her.leftArmContainer.upperArm.getChildIndex(main.her.leftArmContainer.upperArm.foreArm));

The upper arms work, but the forearms don´t.
Something with the layering I guess, the clothing is behind her arm:
