This might be the problem. If your previous use of SDT occured several months or years ago, then you might have been running it
via a web browser. Browser support for Flash is becoming more restricted, and some file I/O operations are blocked entirely. We recommend using the standalone
Flash Player projector.
Please note that
Flash Player is not ideal for use on a shared computer. It will tend to "remember" things for the sake of convenience (such as a list of recently-used SWF files, and the most recent folder for Browse operations). Therefore anyone who runs the application could easily find porn. Fortunately, the program itself is not automatically registered by Windows; it shouldn't appear by default in your Start menu or Taskbar. If you place the
Flashplayer_24_sa.exe file in your SDT folder (and run it from there) then it's basically harmless. Just don't do something silly with it -- such as creating a Desktop shortcut.
even some of those archives didnt load properly or didnt load at all
The possible explanation here is that you're accidentally running
SDT.swf instead of
Loader.swf. It doesn't explain the absence of PNG hairstyles (that's presumably a file I/O thing) but it would explain why some SWF files (Loader mods) are being ignored while other SWF files (vanilla imports) are loading successfully.
Depending on your security settings, Google Chrome may
automatically load
SDT.swf in place of
Loader.swf. Chrome will also block the file-loading mechanism employed by SDT.
even i try to download the loader again
If you applied the Hidden and Archived settings to the
SDT root folder then extracting or copying new files into that folder may be ineffective. I'd recommend that you try extracting the Loader package into a new (clean) folder to see whether that fixes anything. But don't bother doing that until you've tried to use the standalone Flash Player with your
existing folder. I suspect that the whole thing is just a browser problem.
