I just have a small request that should be easy to fulfill. If you could just make remove the skin-tight clothing on the recon... you don't even have to mess with the "metal" bits of the armor. That would be nice.
The ugly "Bump" is still there, i can't find the missing layer >-<
I was having that problem too. Can't figure out what causes it. Nice work though.

I just wanted to say that there's now way they did that in the mesh (counter productive, resource intensive etc.), and when you move around your character it's obvious they're using bump mapping as the outline of the mesh is flat.
If you're trying to find the bump map, well I tried removing the shape of the shorts on the assault battleframe (assetdb\00137000\(00137164.dds, 00137165.dds and 00137167.dds which are for the "paintjob" layout, bump map and diffuse)) and well I got rid of it. I assume the bump mapping was the 00137165 one with green color for the cloth and orange for skin. In this file there's an alpha channel which has to be changed too, maybe that's what you missed ? I'm no texturer but if I can help fix that I would have done a bit more than lurking and leeching.
Anyway what files are you working on for the scout ? I would try to try and see if I can get rid of the bump map effect too. (unless you've already found the solution)
I don't have it and i can't preview it 360 degrees at the battleframe garage, so i can't check it for bad textures :/Also sould you do the same for the Nighthawk?
