Pulled a Lucas and made some changes to the slave Leia swf. Animated the guards, tweaked the background, changed the guy, and you can shift click on the nose to turn it on and off if you don't like it. Here is the Special Edition of Slave Leia.

Some older static hairs, backgrounds, and codes transferred into flash for ease of loading. They didn't need dynamic hair and the backgrounds didn't need animation.

:o Love your work ;D.

If you don't mind me asking how did you get the background to animate?

keep up the great work

Re: darkbones imports

These imports are totally amazing; they're miles ahead of all the other imports I've seen so far:

- Dynamic parts with multiple symbols, flawless joints, and believable physics.

- Custom backgrounds with correct perspective, appropriate clothes strewn about, and they're ANIMATED (I didn't even know that was possible).

- Glossy background surfaces are reflective, and reflect animations.

- Jeannie has a custom nose and a translucent veil.

- Hats cast shadow on hair.

- Unobtrusive artist's signature.

- Lana's leather chair alone would have taken me days to do and wouldn't have looked as good.

I can only imagine what kind of work and expertise went into making these.

thanks and wow

Thanks. I just made the pieces in Photoshop, saved them out as pngs, then imported them into flash, copied the symbols into the background, and animated like any in any flash. Any one importing stuff into flash needs to remember to change the image properties to lossless compression. If you want lessons in flash animation, that is beyond what I can do here. There are some on youtube.

You can also click on Jessie hat to turn it on or off. ;)

Thanks for the kind words and attention to detail. ;)

Re: darkbones imports

Thank you all for the feedback. I have 3 more dynamic ones in the works and a few static ones I may convert into flash just for ease of loading. After that I have a list of 20 to 30 characters I would like to do, time permitting. Sorry, I am taking no requests at this time. :)

mmh they look very great, but I wished they would work for me. I have no idea, why they dont. O.o
Any Ideas?

Got the version 1.6b and tried per import swf mod... It simply wont load it, it stays the normal. Other swf imports work without any problem

Have you updated flash lately?
Are you playing it in a flash player or browser?
I tested them both in Firefox 5 and Internet Explore 9 with no problem on a Windows 7 machine.

Re: darkbones imports

I found the problem. ;D Make sure you download them one at a time and check the file size. If it doesn't match download it again. Must be a bug with forum software, Firefox, or the combination of the two. Files aren't loading because they are incomplete.

Re: darkbones imports (updated Uhura, Chapel, Leia) July 30th

- Leia's hair looks good.
- I'm not a fan of the custom noses and cheek details.
- Would it be possible for the characters to cast shadows on the background that move in sync with them?

The hairstyles are awsome, the backgrounds match with the characters and are very incredibly well done (I love the detail of the clothes on the floor). ;)
Although the files are quite heavy, the set is worth it.
Great and very elaborate work. ;D
You rocks! 8)
