I didn't use a specific text prompt. I actually used an image-to-image AI. I fed it a reference pose and asked it to redraw it in the 16-bit retro pixel art style of Electra from Streets of Rage 3

What did the reference pose sheet consist of, and what model of gemini? Because this might be a solid shortcut to adding sprites that otherwise are difficult to edit in.

The reference was a full sheet of modern high-res sprites, and I just asked Gemini Advanced (Nano Banana 2 model) to redraw them all into the 16-bit SoR3 style.

More female grunts are always good, so I'll reserve judgement until the game comes out. I just keep hoping for someone to make an actual large female grunt who can lift the player or perform a grab.

Rushing Beat X: Return of Brawl Brothers came out on March 19, 2026. There must only be three women in the entire Rushing Beat world because you fight Juliet multiple times (21:03 35:47 1:24:46 1:41:23 1:57:38 3:07:45) plus dark versions of Wendy (1:47:16 2:29:12) and Kahlua (2:40:14). It took over thirty years to have a female boss that wasn't an evil clone of the female player, but there are still no female grunts in Rushing Beat.

This game has more than 3 types of zako.

NTE have some nice looking Sukeban style zako and you can encounter them early in the game. You encounter them randomly across the map as "Illegal activity Detected Nearby". They dont have permanent location unlike Wuwa or Genshin Impact, you may stumble upon them while travelling across the city.

A new Takeover 2 trailer has dropped, showcasing three of the zakos (kickboxer girls, female thugs and the beach girls)

And I gotta say the beach girls are very hot and their bikinis are sooo skimpy, showing their sun-kissed yet lithe body. They behave similarly to Half-Pint from the first game.
