What tools/software do y'all use to make your hairs look so good and smooth? I use GIMP and mine are alright, but they could use better detailing. I'd rather not use Adobe so not that.

You can make an SVG with Inkscape that is free, then create an SWF mod using this method: How to make SWF mods using free tools (body, costume, accessory, hair, HD background, etc.).
It will produce static hair mods. To make dynamic ones, Adobe Animate is mandatory.

It is probably possible to make RGB adjustable static hair mods such as this one: RGB Short Hair 00, but no templates are available for the moment.
