there is a game that i used to play, called Dizzel. it was a pretty awful multiplayer first person shooter, very generic, but it had two good things: sexy female characters (well, only two) and gory headshots—KABOOM the whole head is gone, spurt spurt. it also had Gears of War style fatality kills, but i have given up on seeing that in a MPFPS again.
has anyone found any games with these two things? the closest i have found is Ghost in the Shell: First Assault. if you get blown up by a grenade as Motoko, it blows your body apart into cybernetic pieces, which is nice. unfortunately, even though you can get gory head-asplodey headshots on enemy characters, they can't do them on you (in this game, you see yourself as Section 9 characters but the other team sees you as generic enemy characters, and vice versa).
