Hi all,

As of a few days ago,it seems all the dialogue options both audio and text based have simply stopped working.

Now,i've check a few things as follows:
-reloaded SDT
-Put text and audio based dia's in all the possible slots,
-not using any gags which often block dialogues,
-re D/L the latest SDT version,
-tried different dialogues in my folders,no changes here

Also, for some reason i cant seem to open SDT in firefox anymore,it instead opens in a flash player window and not "in browser" anymore. If someone knows a fix to that i'd be grateful as well. I've scoured the net all day to try and "default" it back to using the firefox shockwave plugin but it aint working either.

So there.-

Thanks to anyone who knows anything about this :(

Hmm that's kind of weird...
It may souds stupid but you have the Dialogue option enabled? I say this because I had that problem once and I didn't realize about it until 2 hours later.... If not, well I really don't know about it sorry...

About the flash player, I've had problems playing with firefox, so I prefer to use the standalone (the flash player window) But if you want to play "in browser" I recommend you to update your flash player plugin at the flash player main page.

Also you can try resetting firefox, it works for me sometimes.

I hope it works for you! :)

The reseting option is a valid one actually,i remember having to res' it a few weeks ago when i had half of FF just crash or block on me. Might've busted something when i did that, will try this.

I'm sorry for necroing, but I am literally having this EXACT same problem. I've even tried uninstalling and reinstalling flash player, since it is constantly loading it in flash player 10 instead of 11, but I can't get it to load in 11, and I can't get ANY dialogue to show. It's not even showing the dialogue box itself, despite having the dialogue box checked, unchecked, then rechecked.

not sure how, but you might have somehow messed up the in-game settings that are saved. try toggling on and off the dialog option in the settings, then saving some character (i find it guarantees the settings are saved as well)

or you can try deleting the appdata associated with the game, or simply move the game to a different folder (it will create a new appdata for it since the filepath changed)

I literally just registered to ask about this question. Thank you so much. I never even noticed that a dialogue option was there to turn it on and off. ;D
