Character List Backup no longer saving. (1 Viewer)

So, I'm able to save characters when I make them, and I have no problem with path folder not being found and so on. However, whenever I save a new custom characters backup, it won't actually create the backup list or anything.

I tried saving in multiple locations and tried redownloading the game to see if that changed anything, but it won't save the backup at all. I'm sure this is a problem with my computer, and I have been able to save a backup list before, so if anyone has any idea as to why this is happening, I'd be very grateful.

Anyway, thank you for any help you can provide!

The game is probably throwing an exception. This is either a consequence of a misbehaving mod, an inappropriate decision on your part (e.g. extracting the SDT folder into c:\Program Files), or something that the coders didn't anticipate (e.g. your character list contains 15,000 girls and it's causing a buffer overflow).

You might be able to gain some additional information by visiting this page and clicking the "Download the Flash Player projector content debugger" link. Use the new file to run Loader.swf (or SDT.swf if you're not actually using the Loader), and then attempt to generate the character list.

If it generates an error message, then copy-paste the message (or take a screenshot) and post it here; someone may be able to identify the problem and suggest a remedy. Once this is done, you should switch back to your "normal" Flash Player application. The debugger version is not recommended for normal use because it's more cumbersome and provides inferior FPS.

If no error message is shown but the problem still occurs, then try temporarily disabling your antivirus software and running the Flash Player application as an Administrator -- Windows may be blocking Flash from creating files outside of the approved locations (e.g. AppData).

If you're still having trouble, then you can try listing your hardware and software specs. Or just zip up your entire SDT folder and put it on a filehost (don't upload it as a forum attachment) so that one of the Flash specialists can attempt to reproduce the problem.

I tried using the debugger like you said, and it worked perfectly. The list now shows up when I save it, so the problem is indeed fixed. Thank you so much for helping me fix the problem!
