So what made you interested in zako ryona specifically? I've always just liked the idea of female canon fodder being taken down by the protagonist. I guess what really made me realize this was saints row 3, when you fought the morningstar. I always found those girls so attractive, even had crush on the remastered version of them. And i found them even more attractive when you hade to take them down.

I didn't realize this was what it was called until I found the tag on Pixiv not all that long ago. But I had been looking for a long time. A... really long time. See, in the first Streets of Rage, there was a whip using dominatrix enemy. I liked her, but the thing that I liked the most was something she did past the 4th stage. Up until then, she'd take hits like every other character. But at that point, she got a trick. Sometimes when she was taking a normal attack, she'd scream and fall to her knees. Now, this was a gameplay element that forced you to change the way you approached the encounter. But oh man, for me, it was the beginning of a lifetime of searching.

I fuckin' loved that idea. It took me so long to find words to describe it, to understand how the power dynamic shown was something I loved, how to contextualize it so I understood I wasn't some horrible monster who just wanted to beat women into submission, how the interplay between danger and vulnerability is what floored me and sent me looking. I'm not trying to be self-pitying here, but when I think about this it's hard to not think of how long I spent genuinely scared of this part of me, when I don't think it's something to be scared of. In fact, these power dynamics interest lots of people. Just look at erotica, people love to explore this sort of thing.

But yeah, it was Streets of fuckin' Rage. Not only that, of course. Diablo 1's succubi died in an overtly sexual way and boy did I like it, although I really disliked that they died. It's why I preferred Golden Axe 2 to 1, because I didn't like cutting up the Zubrokas. I have a distinct memory of the side of a Final Fight machine that had custom art of Poison and I was mesmerized by it. Other things that make me realize I'm old now.

I'm gonna make myself sound even older but anyone finding this fetish now has it super good. The idea of finding weak enemies in particular super sexy wasn't codified in any language other than Japanese until a few years ago. And while you'll hear people talk about how games don't have sexy enemies anymore, they're wrong. There's so many out there because there's so many GAMES out there, and the amount of art aimed at this particular niche has exploded. There has not been a better time to be a zako fan. Enjoy it.

When you mentioned a pixiv tag, I thought you meant "begging for life".
命乞い works well when combined with zako or female enemy tags.

for me, i always had a passing interest as a kid. a few vague memories of what first interested me, but i do remember some classic cartoons with these occasional instances that interested me:
the Zamarons in Batman: The Brave and the Bold as well as Green Lantern: the Animated series, the Amazons and Organization suits from Huntik (still trying to find a quality enough version of season 2), and any other cartoons with such moments growing up since 1995 (year of my birth). though for me, it REALLY kicked off with video game interactions and modding: fallout, elder scrolls (skyrim in particular), saints row 3 and 4, the twi'lek thugs from Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, the Rebel Marksman from Star Wars Battlefront I and II, etc.
now i have about 20-ish games in my PC library with an emphasis on Henchgirl smackdown.

Hmm interesting, what games are these and do you have any recommendations of mods for skyrim and fallout 4 that will make enemies female?

I remember I was thinking about female zako after watching movies with male goons. In some movies I watched were female villainesses dying in the end of this movies, and I thought how interesting it could be if there were henchwomen instead of henchmen. But later I found some movies like Red Sonja (1985) or TV show Legend of the Seeker with female zako, and it was good.
What made me like this? In some movies I watched villainesses were just more interesting and more hot than boring girlfriends of main heroes, and I liked them more. I found them attractive even after their deaths and I liked idea of zako because there are many of them.

I feel like my zako origin story is pretty weird considering I can point the finger at Gex 3. One stage riffs on anime aesthetics, and the enemies include schoolgirls (very rough polygonal schoolgirls, they looked a lot better when I was a kid). A lot of things about them buried their way into my brain, the way they're seemingly 'mass produced' and pop out of these panels in the walls of the stage, how after a few hits they fall down and flail about, and- I think this bit is what really did it- how even when they're prone on the ground, you still need to land one last hit on them to destroy them, as the door to the next area won't open without them dead. Thanks for warping me, Crystal Dynamics.

forget recommending: i have made these mods myself! figured out how to use the creation kits AND i am not someone to play a game that has the potential for female enemies and not do it if i can figure out how. fallout 3, New Vegas, 4, Skyrim, Oblivion and Morrowind (to an extent with the last two), i have modded them. still, the mods are always a work in progress, but i might upload them at some point. already i have uploaded my fallout 4 mod to bethesda.net for Xbox.

Zentrix Fembots:

i love it how the fembots basically have what i call "resurrected monster syndrome" like in power rangers. a monster/villian is introduced in an episode and is a credible threat on their own, but if they get the opportunity to come back, it is usually not much different of a life than the common mooks. where once they were a challenge in their debut episode, they now "blend in" with other "resurrected" monsters of the day. in short: these lovely ladies were introduced individually in their own spotlight episodes and gave zentrix one HELL of a fight each! but here, they reappear and barely last longer than a few seconds. then again, i think the reason here is moreso that zentrix is already familiar with their tricks, so all they do is slow him down however briefly (a few minutes MAX in-universe, less then a minute in the video).

For me in boils down to 3 scenes I saw when I was around 12-13

1. Boxing Luanne

In hindsight it's not much to look at but at 12 years old something about seeing the two old guys step over the defeated womans body got me going in a weird way. Again I pictured her in my head looking a lot better, still chubby, but much prettier.

2.True Crime Streets of LA

The infamous stripper fight. I love how you see them there lying in the background. In the closing cutscene you see one girl lying on her back. They are still hot af pixelated or not, especially the girl in the pink bodysuit.

3.Paycheck

Edit: Scene is at 9:26, won't let me embed the timestamp

This is the scene. The way those tan pants stretch tightly over her buttcheeks, which she has lying down on her side with her butt pointed directly toward the camera while they fish through her bag. God this scene is so hot. In some ways nothing comes close to it. I love tight tan business pants. I wish more Zako would wear them and fall face down
