I'm creating a thread for this show mainly as a way of tracking progress (and to hopefully avoid duplicate threads in the future).

Currently working on this one. The long rear strand is usually hidden by her clothing (and occasionally by the fact that the animators forget to draw it), but I'm including it for the sake of completeness. Ahoge strands are fun to animate. And the overall geometry isn't too complex; I can probably keep the sprite count below 30. I haven't worked with this dark-hair-bright-outline style before, but I've seen a few SDT artists use it to good effect.
Hiyama Akane
Probably not going to animate this one. The ponytail rests on the wrong side of the girl's body. We can easily flip that into the foreground because the hairstyle is mostly symmetrical. But the crimped section is the most recognizable part of the design (hence: it will attract the eye) yet it's too small to sustain any visually-interesting animation. And I have no idea what the large hair accessory is supposed to be. And the ponytail would need to be constrained to rest against the collarbone, which looks neat but requires extra work.
The problem is that I could sink a lot of time into this project but the result will never be very impressive. Instead, I'll probably just trace it as a static hairstyle instead.
Kichougasaki Yuzu
I'm probably not going to work on this one at all. The thick twintails would be fun to animate, but the character is fairly childish. If I spend hours making a porn mod based on this design then I'll probably get creeped out and abandon it. If someone else wants to use these images (e.g. for a static hair mod) then please feel free to do so.

I'm definitely not going to work on this one. The hairstyle just isn't visually interesting to me. Didn't even bother taking screenshots.

Might animate this one. Short-and-spiky hairstyles are reasonably fun to animate. SDT can't do white eyelashes ... but I think that those look stupid anyways. So I'd be willing to use the pink hairstyle as-is and combine it with regular eyelashes. It kinda depends on character progression, though. As of episode 6 I'm just not finding her to be very interesting, but maybe she'll get a cool scene which motivates me to work on the hairstyle.
