It's ostensibly a kids movie (like the other Star Wars films were intended to be), but I was still a bit disappointed when I heard that there would be female storm troopers... then found out they wore exactly the same suits.

I've been fantasizing about female stormtroopers since I was a teenager. Then they arrive. And they let me down! Not even different chest armour! Hopefully they scream like girls at least... though I have a feeling, knowing Hollywood, no female troopers will die.

I've been looking for an old japanese series for a while. the japanese name is ヤヌスの鏡.

The first episode has what looks like a female gang (dressed in tightb dresses).

the rest of the series has a female biker gang who seems to oftren clash with the heroine.

The new pics for the next Female Combatants movie on GIGA's twitter look promising. It seems it's going to be the guy who directed Filament, Platinum Tango, Bolero, etc...

There have been a slew of new movies lately. I hope the new Female Combatants movie will have better action like Tobatsu, and show defeated combatants lying around while the action continues around them, like Death March.
Death March in particular is still the best one since the series reboot.

I still dislike the "WHEEEE" noises they make the girls make. Another reason I like DM more. They don't do it.

Tobatsu is good, tons of action. Great body pile. Having all zentai covered combatants all the time does get old, though, after Filament, and the newest movie. I wasn't a big fan of the most recent one, SDH15: Female Combatant Story, from Zen Pictures. There were a few good scenes for me, but I felt like it could have been better. Cool shooting scenes.

I do like that the focus has been more on action, but I feel like it could be shot and edited better, better continuity of the fights, especially when the girls are KO'd/killed, less squirming an writhing, and showing more defeated combatants while fighting continues. Those are the elements of these movies I wish to see most, and movies like Bandobure 2, Death March, and Platinum Tango do this the best.

Also, how does everyone feel about the new SP player for the movies? I wish there was a way to watch them in a slower speed, like you can on Windows Media Player. Sometimes the action is too fast and I want to slow it down to watch the ladies fight.

Giga's latest: long title starting with Full Attack of the Devil Bad Women Corps!! This is mainly about a number of oddly dressed women fighting each other for a statue of (presumably) magic powers until the situation is sorted out by a Man with a Gun (politically incorrect message here somewhere). But there is quite a lot of zako action, and it's well done. Costumes are the fish-net stockings, mask and hat kit.

Confirming what XBeagle said.

30 minutes in there's only been one "Zako fight" (was in the gravel quarry again), but the movie offers a lot for a lot of different tastes.

Heroes are all female sentai soldier characters (there's 3 of them), and the villains are between 5 - 8 female major villains. Obviously I'm lost on the story, but the content is solid enough. Villains and heroes fight several times (thus far) in what appear to be free-for-all style battles where the villains are fighting the heroes and each other. Several have had pretty standard "Clutch-yourself-reach-for-the-sky-then-explode" deaths ala all sentai-villains. Plenty of back and forth with the heroes taking their share of beatings as well.

The Zako (why I'M watching) are cute. Costumes are leotards w/ shin high boots, masks and the big belts. Seems a few will be wearing the full-head masks later on.

Only complaint is it seems it might get overly porn-y like a few have in the past. The bit from Death March Pt 1 where they slash the Zako with a weapon, and their uniform tears across their breasts, is back... but they've upped-the-ante and have full-body vertical slashes that expose the vag (pixelated censorship) and, in one boner-killing scene, the asshole (again, pixelated censored). Not my thing.

Overall though, depending on how the rest of the zako fights go, this one could be worth it for a lot of people.

EDIT: Skimmed the rest of it. Seems there's 2 major zako fights, unless I managed somehow to completely miss one of them. They weren't bad though, just don't buy this vid if you're looking for Zako... focus here is on killing major female baddies, 'cause a lot of 'em explode by the end!

I havent been particulary excited about recent instalements in the FC franchise. Just by looking at the preview pics i can tell that there are fewer zako scenes and a more limited range in the defeats. I havent baught a video in a while since as some of you may know, im living in a country that makes downloading from these websites difficult . I'll be back home next week for a vacation though, so i'll think hard about which 1 or 2 video i may want to buy.

On a more positive note, after many years of searching, i finally found a copy of the episode of Kagestar featuring the henchwomen in black leotards and orange boots.

The episode is decent, with the women being real henchwomen, not brainwashed civilians, and are willfully helping the villain. We also get to see a final scene of them lying on the floor as the police run over to arrest them.

I'll edit the episode down into smaller video clips and upload it soon.

Minion - that is great news. I can't wait to see those clips. I also know how you feel about the recent FC movies, they just haven't been as good since Platinum Tango. This new one is OK though, just not focused on combatants.
