where do I put the file to make it work?
You can put the SWF file in your
Mods\$INIT$\ subfolder. You must then edit the
Mods\$INIT$\Mods.txt file and add the following line:
SDTDialogueActionsv4.08.swf
Once you've done that, you can restart the Loader and the dialogueActions mod will become activate (it will also be active during all
subsequent gameplay sessions). But it's important to note that the mod doesn't
do anything on its own. It supports and enables new features for dialogue writers. Advanced dialogues which rely on dialogueActions often re-distribute the mod, by incorporating it into a "bundle" along with the Loader, the dialogue file itself, customized settings, and various supporting mods (such as costumes, hairstyles, custom backgrounds, etc).
Slave Bazaar is a good example.
Hence, it usually isn't necessary for you to setup the dialogueAction mod manually. If you're looking to
create advanced dialogues of your own then please go ahead. But if you're looking to
consume someone else's work then it will probably be simpler to download the complete bundle.
