Title was too long to post completely so I shortened it.
When I switch characters using X or C there is a long delay (1 or 2 seconds) before it switches the hairs and backgrounds, sometimes it even keeps one of the hairs and I get 2 hairs on a character to fix it I need to select them again from the scene tab. If I switch characters using the scene tab there is no lag and the hairs don't get messed up. I did not have this problem before so it might be because I have more characters and backgrounds (I added a lot recently).

Edit: I just tried out using X and C while the scene tab is open and then there is no lag or wrong hairs.
