I'm a big fan of ryona content where not only does the girl get beaten up, but she also loses some clothing along the way. Bonus points for it if the clothes are actually shown to be in various states of tattered at times. Quite a few games actually do have mechanics that cater to this specific kink which I'm grateful for. For some examples,

Senran Kagura

Ikki Tousen

A handful of fighting games - notably the Dead or Alive and Soul Calibur series

I'm also not super picky when it comes to how the clothing comes off as long as there's a way to really make it happen in-game (not just like a bikini alternate costume or something). For example, the game School Girl Zombie Hunter literally has a button you can press to remove the girl's clothes. I don't understand why to be honest, but it's a pretty great feature :)

So does anyone have any other recommendations or know of any other good examples of this?

Its definitely more common in the Hentai scene, rather than games like Senran Kagura (which actually tries to get passed the ESRB / whatever censorship boards there are in each country). However, H-Games are usually of much lower quality than AAA titles, because their pornographic nature simply reduces the number of people willing to play those games.

H-Games tend to be more expensive with fewer features.

Senran Kagura Estival Verses is probably the "best" mainstream clothing destruction game, that's pretty much the point of the entire game (beyond the Dynasty Warriors like combat system).

------------

Bullet Girls Phantasia has a bit of it, but is even more risque than Senran Kagura.

Neptunia U was built on the same engine as Senran Kagura, but the Neptune series kinda backed away from Clothing Destruction (See the next entry Blanc vs Zombies).

Deception: Nightmare Princess has a pretty good armor break mechanic. The game leans into the more bloody / gritty style gameplay. You are playing an evil villain, daughter of the Devil, and all. I actually don't like the clothing destruction of this game compared to others, I actually like the game itself... somehow setting up a 100-combo as my enemies bounce around in my convoluted death traps is up my alley. Really good game, but not really something "sexy" like Senran Kagura or Soul Calibur are.

-----------

If you're willing to step into the H-Game realm, then I guess I'd recommend Iris Action. Iris Action [Oiran Ichimi] | DLsite . I mean, its straight up hentai, but maybe that's where you wanted to go?

Oh I LOVE Iris Action, that’s a relatively old game at this point that, in my opinion, still has game over/defeat scenes that are difficult to be topped. That almost 3D look with slightly animated CG screens, it’s so good and nobody’s really done anything like that again.

Gosh I forgot about Deception IV, Velgurie probably has one of my favorite video game outfit designs of all time, and to top it off the game is completely based around humiliating enemies and her if she happens to get caught in the crossfire~~

Okay, if you're cool with H-games, then another good one is Re:Lord. Re;Lord 1 ~The witch of Herfort and stuffed animals~

There's an alternative win-condition if you rip off all of the opponent's underwear (panties + bra). You can win with straight beatdown (and that's the easier way for sure).

The core game of Re:Lord is surprisingly good. Its basically fruit-ninja, except with special attacks, special bars and more strategy. There are only two boss characters, but plenty of poses for the clothing destruction. The clothing destruction art is very detailed, carrying over to the scenes that end a chapter.

There aren't many unique pictures in the game. But the shear number of "states" for every destructible clothing item, makes the game surprisingly detailed in the ways that matter to the clothing destruction player. The left-sock? The bow on the hair? The right glove? The collar? All tracked separately, and all have alternative CGI events depending on their state.

3D Models with destructive clothings is kinda rare:
- Valkyrie Drive Bhukkini (PSVita)
- Tao Feng (Xbox)
- School Girl Zombie Hunter (PS4)
- Fist of the North Star: Ken's Rage (PS3)
- Heavy Metal FAKK 2 (PC)

2D images like:
- Fire Emblem Heroes (Mobile)
- Kantai Collection
- Calderius Blaze (PS4)
- Motto Nuga Cel (PSP) pixel
- Queen's Blade Spiral Chaos (PSP) pixel/image
- Blandia (Arcade)

---

Yeah, there's quite a number of H-games that fall in this genre too.
- Blazing Angel Mistletear (sp?)

Eiyu Senki Gold added Clothing Damage over Eiyu Senki, but it only happens rarely. Most of it is "just" vanilla sex. The 2d art is above average and there's a LOT of it. Confusingly: its a totally different game (and a soft-reboot) over Eiyu Senki original.

One of the better JRPG Hentai games from years ago was Princess Sacrifice: プリンセスサクリファイス~供犠姫フィーナの冒険~ [猫ひげラジオ] | DLsite

There were a few costumes in that game that got torn up into various states based off of the enemy actions.

The Umai Neko games have a little bit of clothing damage, but... its just "all clothes" vs "clothes destroyed entirely" (naked) for the most part, and no states in between.
