I've noticed, while browsing the Imports, that many of the posts that have the hair images for characters, dont have the input code to complete the character. Is it there and I just cant see it or what?

Usually, it means that the artist didn't bother to provide a charcode. They're treated as lower priority than the actual imports, because someone playing the SDT game can manually customize the girl's appearance (via sliders, etc) in order to match the desired character.
Most people can't draw hairstyles, so an artist will share the PNG file even if they don't have a charcode to accompany it.
