Vanilla mods? (need beginners advice) (1 Viewer)

I am new to using mods and though I have downloaded the loader, used .swf, .png mods and charcodes I still don't understand what vanilla mods are. Also, are there any other mods I should learn to use? (I would like to know as much as possible)

The term "Vanilla" refers to SDT without modifications. These are mods published with Konashion's template.
All other mods are "Loader" which refers to the modified version of SDT, such mods are published with a variety of templates and require special setup.

oh, I feel stupid, are there any other mods I should learn to use or do I have the basics down?

There's no standard configuration for what you should have installed. If you like something, install it. If you're not sure how, ask. But if you do have trouble be sure to follow bug reporting guidelines.
