I did provide the initial nude models for Resorepless, but that's all.
Basically I don't use Resorepless.
Why not?
The answer is simple. Because I understand XML files.
What Resorepless does is automatically edit partcutdesc.xml.
If you understand xml, you don't need it.

Ah ok, I just wasn't sure why after the new body all the parts started clipping with the same partcut file as is so figured it was tied to the body itself.
I will tinker with the part-cut later tonight, so sorry for coming off as demanding if that's how it sounded, just wans't sure this was a on-going project for new bodies or not.

I don't use resorepless but an older (only nude in underwear) partcut you uploaded ages ago.

Lastly, can you point me in the right direction for removing the start underwear files for the classes I goofed up so I can re-download and install them?
Starter Underwear was uploaded to the top post.

Thank you, re-downloaded it.

Edit: It looks slightly better but the calfs and feet are still busting through on some shoes (mostly the taller boots but still on some of the small shoes as well).
I messed with original game sliders to really small/thin just in case and it always looks the same even on smallest settings.

I'm not sure this helps, but figured I'd report back. Worse case I can always download the old body.
If you look closely at the images of the boots, they do not appear to be body-clipped.
It appears that either the boots are double-layered or the vertex normals of the model are clipped on the reverse side.
Either that or the texture of the boots is broken.

While uploading a new nude body, I'm in the process of modifying the body with the nude body's texture borders erased.
The body I made in the latter half of the project has the borders removed, so I will version up all the bodies at once after all the corrections are done, though not all of them.

By fixing one issue I seemly caused another in partcut triggering a new not so fun whack-a-mole game. Been tinkering and still no luck on resolving it, so I have a couple questions for anyone more knowledgeable than I as I have spent almost two hours of trial and error without resolution thus far. It didn't used to cut through shoes prior to me touching things so I know it's something I did.

Issue: The Tamer/Kunoichi "Vixen"/"Violet Vulpes" lower body purple netting is cutting through random shoes.
(Sample pics are Tamer in Lahr Arcien (R) shoes and Kunoichi in Kitsune shoes.

Request:
1.) Does anyone know how to adjust part-cut to have the boots take precedent over the lower body netting and hide it properly without the bleed through?
My Current partcut relation settings for shoes and lower body are:

In your case, the bug is caused by writing the wrong command in partcutdesc.xml.
You have separate <Relation CutType> underwear for women and men, but have you also reworked the <BasicCutType> separately?
If not, it will not work.

I don't think you need to separate the undergarments in the first place, though.

If you create a separate women's item for underwear, you must add <Cut>Underwear_Female</Cut> to every <Relation CutType> that has an underwear cut.

For example, I would do this.

Thank you for your response suzu ( 鈴 suzu ( 鈴 , Yes, I have the split up already due to testing some interactions with the male protruding on some sets but I think they are just overly goofed from the start to resolve and others are just weird, like the underwear (penis) is tied to the helmet on the Cerberus warrior helmet. No idea why but adding it fixed the issue.

However, I am not entirely sure this is underwear related I tried extensively experimenting with it earlier. The underwear break before (white aura of feet protruding all shoes) was due to a miss-hap for this underwear_female line there was a space in the pbw line which goofed things up. Once I fixed it the purple netting from the Vixen/Violet Vulpine (seems to be only this set I've seen it do so thus far) set is now cutting through in the same areas but unlike previously it does not exceed the actual boot's graphical border as it did previously. It also does the purple cut-through on the Kunoichi who I was just using the store preview mix & match for so she had no underwear equipped in the screenshot above with the VL body armor and the Kitsune boots equipped. I gave up for now after 4 hours of tinkering and not able to resolve it and I couldn't find any explicit examples via the threads (so far) of the same situation playing out.


I have confirmed via the paz browser that the netting is included as part of the LB piece of the set but I don't know why it's taking priority and bleeding through the boots.

I finally figured out the conflict! but I have to call it a night lol.
I identified the culprit of the conflict but I'm not sure how to handle it.
If you have any guidance it would be greatly appreciated.

So for female lowerbody, if I don't cut nude in relations their legs bleed through a lot of pant armors, as such I leave that constant. Fair enough, not big issue for the most part, 99.9% of the time I haven't found any issues. Except with the vixen/vulpine costume set, which just started recently as I didn't used to have this issue with this armor set-up.

All of the sudden on the vix/vulpine skin if I do that configuration and cut nude from LB it creates this gap under her skorts. So to fix that I added a line-item to get the nude part back.
That being (minus the comment outs):

Those lines fix the missing body part, but cause the conflict with the boots, so commenting them out fixes the issues with the legs but makes the body hole appear again. From there I cross referenced the file name into textures and found I had an old file from 2018 in there (see attached) which is basically the full armor minus the mini shorts.

Removing that file makes the armor go back to normal 100%, which is an option.

My question is, is there a way to get it back to working without causing the conflict with the boots?
This is my entire partcut file I use, it is very short in comparison with yours as I don't use much as far as custom outfits with some minor ones like the case of this outfit.

If you or anyone else with partcut knowledge could give me some guidance I would be greatly appreciative!

My partcutdesc is when Pearl Abyss made additional changes, I also match them with the additional changes.
That way it is easier to find bugs.
Also, the tamer, sorceress, and ranger's upper body is written in a separate commando line.
I do not change those either. Because I am sick of having to worry about them.
Just because the lower body is cut doesn't mean it is the lower body line. Sometimes, especially in the case of skirts, the upper body is the cut line.
In the case of this texture of mine, the outfit has been altered and removed from the texture, but the body is not cut and there is no body clip from the boots.
Creating your own XML file is a good thing, but I don't do it. Because I often have to modify polygon models, modify textures....
Sometimes I see another user's body missing and I pretend I didn't notice. :grin:
Because I can always modify it and I want to at least enjoy it when I log into the game.

I tried to match the height to the NPC Eileen.
The head, neck, and wrists are not thin, which is what I don't like about Black Desert characters.
Let's see if I can't adjust them in the customizationboneparamdesc.xml file.

Suzu, could you check the sorc file version 2? It seems you uploaded the same file as the first version (it has the same date). Also, could you check valk file? Because it has the same date of you first upload ( just like the sorc pac file)...

The file has been replaced with a new one.

I'm pretty sure it's pnw_00_lb_0113_01_dec.dds, but are you sure you didn't use the wrong file format when you saved the textures?
You should save it as DXT3 or DXT5.
