Want to make sure; does the mod work well after 34.2?
I suddenly find Hearthstone does not start with SK attached + crashes when SK attaches to it.

edit) removing SK_Res/dump directory makes the game alive, so I think I can live with it.

I use Modred with SK, I do not have any bug or crashes.

it crashes when using Overwolf (Firestone or Heartharena). If I've fully exited Overwolf and it's no longer running, I can use Special K on Hearthstone without issue. I was wondering if anyone else has found a solution to this

Here's the concern of a forced upscale.

Usually Hearthstone provides the card images up to 512x512, but I found Hearthstone+SpecialK is not techically bound to 512x512, and shows more bigger mipmaps in a larger resolution if provided. Thus, we can manually build an 1024x1024 or 2048x2048 dds file and ask SpecialK to inject.

It would increase the mod size (512x512 vs 2048x2048 is 170kb vs 2.66mb) but I think it could be worth for the hi_res/absurd_res modders.

I captured in my local on Bonechill Stegodon. Even using the same source image from the press center, building it as 2048x2048 shows more high resolution images, compared to original or 512x512 ones.

I think I can try some of my images upscaled, especially for the old-school skins.

nah dude I've been using this mod for years so long as you don't stream the game or purposely tell blizzard you should be fine.
