Hello I am new to this board and modding, can anybody point me in the right direction or teach me how to mod?

Well... there is a variety of tutorials and guides that come with the Loader, and sby also has created a variety of tutorials that you can take a look at as well. They are in his signature.

edit - you should also clarify if you are wishing to "mod" as in use mods, or "mod" as in create mods.
i personally think what you are asking is how to make them, but i have seen plenty of new users ask the same thing but meaning the other.
