Does anyone remember all the great zako from the movie "Troma's War"? (My ancient post on it is here.)
Well, the Toxic Avenger movies are from the same company, so I decided to look into them a bit further.
The great scene wj1905 showed is not the only zako scene in the movie, although it may be the best one. But there is a bit more even to this scene.
Here is my zako review of Toxic Avenger 2:
View attachment 106384

Well, the movie is cheesy in the extreme and it is disappointing in terms of the action the zako have, but the main zako group, called simply the "Bad Girls," are some real hotties with great zako style. They work for the evil corporation "Apocalypse Inc.", and it seems their job is to strut around and act as petty bullies towards the townspeople, as this purple-haired hottie does here:
View attachment 106372

Or as this group does here:
View attachment 106373

Near the end of the movie several of them try to invade the trailer home of the Toxic Avenger's girlfriend. I wonder how that will turn out for them?
View attachment 106374View attachment 106375

For the first half of the movie the "Bad Girls" mostly stand around listening to speeches from the boss baddies, but at least they look good doing it. Here are a few gifs showing some of the zako ladies that, unfortunately, don't show up elsewhere in the movie. I would have loved to see these zako confront the heroes and, of course, lose in a decisive and humiliating manner:
View attachment 106376View attachment 106377View attachment 106378View attachment 106379

Anyway, the baddies concoct a plan to get Toxie to travel to Japan while they take over his town.
While Toxie is in Japan, a trio of street punks accost his lady friend, and he goes berserk on them. One of the street punks is female, and while she is not the most attractive, she does have a decent "punk" style and her fate is both harsh and humiliating (in other words, a perfect fate for a zako).
She never once tries to fight Toxie. Instead, she only screams and runs away from him, but he chases her down and finally corners her in a recording studio. Then he ties her up and, while she screams and shakes, he turns her into a "human transmitter":
View attachment 106380View attachment 106381

Meanwhile, because Toxie is preoccupied in Japan, Apocalypse Inc. and the "Bad Girls" are able to take over his hometown. We see the purple-haired hottie again, this time playing a female member of the Apocalypse work crew. I do love when the ladies wear a uniform similar to that of the men, but modified with a few feminine touches (leggings instead of pants, a bit of skin showing, more feminine boots, or just a more snug fit to the same uniform):
View attachment 106382

We also see my personal favorite of the "Bad Girls" zako getting in on the action. This blonde wearing the leopard-skin leggings is just incredible, in my opinion:
View attachment 106383

Meanwhile, in Japan, our hero is fighting some Japanese thugs, including the lady from wj1905's post. In the movie's credits her role is "chain sickle girl". She tries to ambush Toxie with a chain sickle from a rooftop, but he pulls her down and she lands hard. However, she jumps back up and continues to fight, at which point Toxie cuts off her clothing and his lady friend bashes her head from behind.
However, this is not the end of this zako's appearance in the movie. She actually staggers off and ends up falling limp into the lap of the same guy who was present when Toxie dealt with the previous zako.
He is ecstatic that a near-naked, beautiful woman has just fallen into his lap. Once she has awoken, it is shown that she seems smitten with him as well, although she is still dazed and staggering.
View attachment 106385
I do love the idea of rescuing the completely defeated, completely helpless zako after their encounter with the heroes, so I really like this scene. I've included all the scenes with this zako in the video at the end of this post.

Finally, our hero returns to his hometown, just as the "Bad Girls" are invading his girlfriend's trailer home.
This does result in some decent zako action and the defeat of the "Bad Girls", but it is mostly tongue-in-cheek and all of the "Bad Girls" are allowed to escape. Such a disappointment. I was hoping for some more decisive defeats, perhaps even a pile of defeated "Bad Girls." Oh well.

Toxic Avenger 2 Zako
Later this week I will upload a zako review of Toxic Avenger 3 and Sgt. Kabukiman, NYPD (another cheesy Troma movie).

Now let's take a look at Toxic Avenger 3. This movie is even cheesier. Toxie is tricked into joining Apocalypse Inc. for a while, allowing them to take over the town. When he comes to his senses, he fights against the Apocalypse Inc. CEO, who turns out to be a demon of some sort.
I don't care about any of that, but as before, Apocalypse Inc. employs a group of zako called the "Bad Girls", and they are enjoyable to watch.

My favorite of the Bad Girls is, of course, the blonde in the leopard-skin leggings.
Her attempt at giving an intimidating glare might not be scary, but it is damn sexy.
The goth zako behind her is not bad either, as we will see later.
Toxic Avenger 3 Zako Gifs07.gif

Look at the way she tosses her head so confidently. She really thinks she stands a chance against the heroes. And I love the punk touches to her outfit, like the studded belt and armlet:
Toxic Avenger 3 Zako Gifs04.gif

I prefer her "tough" expressions rather than her overconfident laughter, but either way she looks great.
In the first gif, she stands laughing next to the boss of the Bad Girls zako, who ends up facing her demise along the course of the movie.
In the second, she laughs next to the goth hottie zako.
Toxic Avenger 3 Zako Gifs06.gif Toxic Avenger 3 Zako Gifs10.gif

This is another of the Bad Girls zako. I love her outfit and her attitude.
Toxic Avenger 3 Zako Gifs05.gif

Here she is along with a few other Bad Girls, including the purple-haired hottie from the last post.
Toxic Avenger 3 Zako Gifs03.gif

Does anyone recognize this beret zako hottie from the previous post? Also note purple-haired hottie behind her, looking great as usual.
Toxic Avenger 3 Zako Gifs01.gif

This zako has great expressions and reactions throughout the movie. All the good townsfolk are horrified as Toxie seems to lose, while she is delighted.
You can also tell the zako Bad Girls from the good townsfolk because the zako tend to dress in skimpier clothing!
Toxic Avenger 3 Zako Gifs09.gif

There are several zako that only appear once, during the main bad guy meeting. Would have loved to see more of them. Imagine if Toxie and the good townsfolk had confronted the Apocalypse Inc. people in a massive brawl. We could have seen all of these zako in action. And, of course, there could have been shots of the defeated zako as well!
Toxic Avenger 3 Zako Gifs00.gif Toxic Avenger 3 Zako Gifs02.gif

Instead, all we get is the zako being frightened and running away:
Toxic Avenger 3 Zako Gifs08.gif

Here is the link to all the zako scenes I found in the movie, including the demise of the boss zako and many scenes I did not make gifs for:

I do wish they did this properly and omitted the brainwashing and "meeep" squeaks, but let's be honest, ALL their videos have the same plot. They likely have one director and this is his fetish.

Wow. It's only after all these years that I get to realize, maybe these squeaks are not from having lousy equipment, but are part of the director's personal fetish.

I'm just laughing at myself.

That said, we can hope for the best, but mustn't expect too much. It's one thing to be cast as the main heroine, it's another thing to be given a humiliating role as a worthless zako sex object. I quite doubt they can find many pretty girls for that.

Here is some action picks of giga's agent aika like movie. ザコ女軍団 (8月28日発売)その2 : 羹灼の遠吠え

It could have been worse I guess... at least they make sure we get a good view of underwear, despite the very thick and clearly not skin-colored stockings.

But what's with that costumed moron? Why is there no Aika-like female secret agent showing off panties and beating down the Delmos?

It seems Giga really likes its costumed guys. That guy in red seems to show up quite a bit.

Another thing is that it seems Giga doesn't know how to put cameras at floor level. Maybe their equipment can't be adjusted that low. It's a big pity. Anything Agent Aika related needs to have some very low angles.

The reason that "costumed moron" is in it is because Giga has almost exclusively been about super sentai porn, even with most of the heroine ryona films. It's what japanese people want, and will most likely continue to want for a long time since it's something they grew up with.

People don't seem to realize that Giga is a Japanese company, and thus mainly listen to the Japanese market when it comes to making these films. The squeaks, the brainwashing scenes, and all of the other tropes you pick up from these films are because the Japanese market WANT these things in these films. The reason they want these tropes is because of the Super Sentai shows they grew up watching on TV. When you do some small amount of research everything starts to make a lot of sense. But this is an internet forum, so I'm not sure what I was expecting...

African Zako movie.
"big boss" posted a promising african movie, where several evil henchwomen are killed: Live and Die by Gun
(see Live And Die By Gun).

Accidentally I found other (probably more prominent) names for this movie:
"Deep In The Game" (from Sierra Leone) or
"Prisoners of War 1" (from Nigeria, I think).

With these names, some more clips and pictures can be found, e.g.:

The scenes described by big boss starts at the following time:
first fight : 1-38-35
second fight: 1-49-20
third fight : 1-53-50
fourth fight: 1-56-00

Well, the Delmos look sexy, at least, and they have nice panties. Not sure why they have to wear stockings over that - I think the anime Delmo just wore long socks, not stockings. Seems instead of finding an Aika lookalike it's the same Power rangers knockoffs again, but at least the poses seem sexy.

Is this movie above from the same people who made "Who Killed Captain Alex"? Bit nicer effects but no coherency. Things just happen, without scene transitions. Also the fat hostage taker lady clearly lost her voice, that was painful to even listen to. But still some sexy zakos. Main heroine is busty too.

Yeah, the lady who turns into a donkey-demoness later with the extremely torn (on purpose) clothing is my favourite too.

I am totally aware of that. But y'd think even the biggest Sentai-Hentai fan would get tired of watching literally the same thing again and again. What Giga is doing is the zako equivalent of the "I am the plumber, I have come to fix your sink" porn trope.
Besides, they are now doing Aika, which is also a Japanese property. I thought they would try and replicate that too.

I don't know Sentai, but I do know Kamen Rider, Ultraman, etc. There's a whole range of related Japanese Bandai characters in that vein, way more than what Marvel has to offer. Not being interested, I can't care less. These are just costumed morons to me.

Sigma is totally wrong in expecting that Japanese know and will automatically like Sentai. Far from it. Japan's pop and toy culture is so rich and varied, and they make so many good anime and live action characters, that consumers are spoiled for choice and can completely pursue whichever fantasy (sexual or not) they prefer.

If you make a varied lineup, you will expand market share. If you don't, you will be pigeonholed.

From personal experience, there is a high chance that some Japanese guy who likes Mecha set in the future, will usually not like Kamen Rider.

Inserting that Sentai guy into everything will probably irritate and turn off fans of other genres.

Put it another way:
Just because someone is from America, doesn't mean that they like the Simpsons. This is the equivalent of Sony or Pixar making 1000 movies with Homer Simpson to the rescue.

This is Agent Aika, so where is Aika?

Based on Sigma's logic, should American studios insert Homer Simpson in the place of Veronica Mars, Bruce Wayne and Charles Xavier?

Yeah, I agree with you. I was replying to Sigma explaining how I feel they are being incredibly repetitive at Giga...

Japanese market is definitely the key market for Giga and they need to make sure they look after that customers there. However, I won't say they have little interest in the overseas markets, otherwise they won't make a dedicated English site. I believe the strong bias towards Japan could be due to cultural difference. In Japan, having such a genre is much more socially acceptable than in the rest of the world, so people are feel more free to give feed back or tell in forums what they want. If you go to the Giga website, there are a lot of comments posted for their movies. I rarely see any in English (and we know for sure staff at Giga can read English)

Looking quite...sexy! I like it but hope to see more Agent Aika like defeated poses. The ones shown look more like those from past GIGA stuff, but that is what we might expect.

It's that costumed moron guy I can't stand. At first glance at thumbnail, he's wearing red, so I thought, great it's Aika. But GIGA is so obsessed with costumed moron heroes.

Would be so much happier to see a female protagonist like Agent Aika herself kicking Delmo butt! They really mostly repeat the same movie template with different costumes, but much the same flow and scenes as we expect. It is still lovely to see some Delmos in a new live action format, even if not quite the way we picture them.

Talking about that, I really hoped to see some real crotch kicking here. The tip of Aika's red pumps shoved up where a Delmo is most sensitive!

But I guess that costumed moron guy isn't going to be doing such actions. It's unmanly, and I don't think that actor is particularly agile.

I love low blows and GIGA has delivered on this in some past movies, but it is rare. Hope to see some as well!

Honestly, I agree. Them not having Aika as a lead was a wasted opportunity. Hell, if they really wanted a male lead, they could have gotten an actor to play Gusto, who kicked some serious delmo ass in the second episode of the original anime. Instead, we get a faceless, knock-off power ranger. It's like hentai art featuring a female character having sex with some generic nobody, except without the hentai.

Gusto! You're right! A Gusto character would work as well, even if it's less sexy female-on-female violence.

You don't even need Gusto. An ugly middle aged Japanese businessman in a generic cheap suit (surely most of the audience would identify with him) would do. Gozo was fantastic against the Delmos too.

I really liked these aftermaths more than I liked any of Gusto's scenes:
Agent Aika Ep4 30399.jpeg scene29089.jpg scene29020.jpg

It has always been my fantasy/ suspicion that Gozo took 'additional actions' against the Delmos not shown onscreen.
The Blonde Blue Delmo's legs in Episode 4 are open so unnaturally wide apart I wonder if Gusto did it.
In the second scene from Episode 6, Gozo brutally knocked the blonde Casino Dealer Delmo flying. That kind of kick and painful fall must have knocked her unconscious and face down. The only way she would wind up in that position face up with legs wide apart, is if Gusto flipped her over for purposes of having some fun.
And there is also her colleague at the back with legs split 180 degrees apart. Nobody else in the anime winds up with legs so far apart as it's a very unnatural way to fall. Gozo probably repositioned her.

Simply by having a Gozo take on the Blue Delmos, I bet more Japanese otaku will identify with him enthusiastically than with a costumed moron knockoff.
