I have a few hairs I'd like to have made rgb adjustable. While making this request I found an old post I made for just one of these. Unfortunately it hasn't been touched so I'm not very optimistic about this request but I may as well try.

I found 6 hairs in the more clothing mod and I want to add them to my rgb hair collection. I use the collar colors for my CharCodes and dialogues. If this gets no traction for a while I might try doing the revisions myself, tho I don't have the resources nor knowledge to do so. If it'll cost money then I may just have to give up on these hairs.

These are the hairs I'd like modified. Sorry, I didn't bother looking up the sources for these but they came with more clothing.

Thanks in advance for any attention or help with this.

Hello BlueZephyr BlueZephyr

I saw this request while cleaning up some spam.

It is probably a bit late, but if you want to make these hair mods RGB adjustable, they'll have to be vectorised first.

You can do it with Inkscape, using the Custom Hair (top back under).swf template found in my Custom SWF templates.
Draw a normal single-colour SVG for each layer (e.g. HAIR_BOTTOM and HAIR_BACK for the first one), then follow the instructions in this post to separate the colours and lines and make different SVGs for each (this is intended for Adobe Animate, so don't mind about the instances names and just draw the different polygons as explained, Inkscape and Animate have the same functions with sometimes different names or shortcuts).
You have to end up with 3 SVGs for the HAIR_BOTTOM layer, and another 3 for the HAIR_BACK/HAIR_UNDER layers, making a total of 6 SVGs for each mod, except the fouth one.

Then you can use this method to decompile existing RGB adjustable hair mods.
To have the same layers, use RGB Buns 01 for your mods 1/2/3/5, and RGB Short Hair 00 for the 6th one.
I don't think I have an RGB hair mod with only the HAIR_BOTTOM layer, so for the 4th mod, use any of the above and just replace the extra layers with transparent SVGs.

Do not forget to replace the values
this.modName = "RGB Buns 01"; this.modCreator = "SyntaxTerror";
with yours in scripts>SDTMods>ModPackage (as explained here).

Please note that my RGB hair mods come in three versions: two for Vanilla/Loader using the collar or headgear sliders, and one for the Loader using the hairRGB add-on (all three have predefined colours). Use whichever ones suit you best (I recommend using all three).

It may be a little tricky if this is your first time using JPEXS/FFDec, but you will find that it is quite straightforward.
If you find this too difficult, I can take care of the second part for you, but I will need the proper SVG files to do so.

[EDIT]
The second part will not work because the dimensions of the drawings will be different and will end up misaligned.
I could make RGB adjustable hair templates, but as my method to make SWFs with free tools doesn't seem to be popular, it is probably not worth the hassle.
So all you have to do is draw the SVG files and I will turn them into functional SWF mods.

Good luck.
