Animated background ready (1 Viewer)

I've converted a fighting game background for SDT. It's been vectorized to remove pixelation. 22 frames of jpgs ready for swf. Can someone make me a flash template for animated BGs from these files? I'd also like instructions on how to do smooth transition effects if possible(like fade in, fade out, or tweens or whatever). I've decompiled another animated BG to look at it's structure but have no idea what to do.

Here are my frame files:

Normally this would be two images on two layers. The moving background, and the stationary ship deck. You would have to tween it (right click, add motion tween) over about 20 frames. Then move it to a positon every 5 frames or so, in a circle until it's returns to where it began. You can still do this but it'll require some photo editing to split the two parts.

Otherwise you'll have to place all you images on one frame, then center them perfectly, and one by one add them to the next frame in the timeline. But the size of the mod is going to be HUGE, and your fps is going to suck balls

I've thought about doing it the first way but that is too far beyond my abilities. I'd have to separate the ship from the background, draw in missing background and then adjust 20 frames in flash.

I'm trying to replicate whats been done in these:

They're 1-3 megs in size and I don't get much noticeable fps hit. I guess 3 megs is huge compared to most flash files? Are the BGs that I've linked made with the second method that you described?

The simplest solution that I can think of is to have SDT play a gif file. Is there a hack or mod that lets SDT play a gif as a BG? What about importing a gif into flash without having to adjust each frame individually?

No, you only adjust 4 if you tween it. When you tween an object you go to a predetermined point in the timeline and move the object. The first frame is the starting point. when you click play, the objct will move from the starting point to the spot you moved it to smoothly. As for drawing the missing background it's pretty simple. Cut and paste. I'm gonna try and fix this one, because I like the ship idea and think it should definately be a background ;D

Splitting the ship and background into 2 separate layers was too daunting a task for me. When you finish, can you write a basic tutorial/provide a .fla template?
