swf movie to images? (1 Viewer)

Fraps does the job, at least for me. I can record flash files from within the Projector just fine at 30 fps.

hi, this isn't SDT related but i thought you big brains might be able to help me out. ;)
im trying to extract images from a swf file of a short clip. i want to create a
animated gif as well as a animated png (high quality).

so far i have tried "iWisoft Flash SWF to video Converter" (failed to open file)
and "SWF Picture Extractor" (no images)

i'm looking to get high quality images from it. tiff, png, tga.

[edit] looks like SWFTOOLS may have a solution. i'm rusty at using the command prompt tho.
any help would be most appreciated.[/edit]

swfextract.exe myfile.swf

i get this

[-f] 1 Frame: ID<s> 0
[-m] 1 mp3 Soundstream

it doesn't print (show in the prompt) any image info. :-\

do you get frame for frame with fraps? what i mean is there any doubles or skipped frames?
