.mod files (1 Viewer)

So I may be a bit of an idiot, but I can't figure out how to use .mod files in the game. For example, the thighpatch v2.mod or any of the other .mod files on Faceless's board http://www.sdtmods.com/index.php?topic=767.40. Sorry if this is a dumb question, but I've tried for a while to figure this out and haven't been able to do so. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Load it with the loader, as implied by the fact that it's a loader mod located in a loader imports board thread.
