Depends on the demands, but we are working as Build-Your-Own-Porn and it is nothing strange there could be a gay pov.

I'm straight but I'm adding boobies to the girls and dicks on the boys; and not sure whether I can call it "gay" though.

It is always better to have more choices with cards, so if you can/want to edit and then share them with others it will be accepted. I can't really talk for everyone but I think someone might just find the cards you edit the ones they wanted. So I encourage you and others too to do it.

Okay, I think using the old method should work for everyone still having trouble getting the mod to work. I just tested this on windows 10 and it was actually easier than my previous guide and should work well for older operating systems (windows 7 and newer). I will try to be as thorough as possible and try to use simple language for translators. I'm really sorry I don't have an older machine to test this on but in theory, If you can get the installer to launch it shouldn't have any problem running.

1. PLEASE make sure you dont have any remnants of old SKIF or SKIM on your machine or everything below may not work. To make sure your system is clean go to My Documents and delete your My Mods folder. If other games use that folder for mods, open it and delete the SpecialK folder. If a window says it is in use you need to restart your computer and then delete it. If it still says in use you need to remove SpecialK Install Manager and(or) SpecialK Injection Frontend from your startup programs, restart and then delete the folder.

2. Download the attached zip and run SKIM64.exe and click install. Bars will turn green and fill then a new window will popup, click yes. Click finish install then click ok.

3. Go to My Documents>My Mods>SpecialK Right click the file called SpecialK32.dll and then rename it to dxgi.dll Right click that file and select cut. Then open your Program Files(x86) and open your Hearthstone folder. Right click a blank space in the folder and select paste as seen below.

4. Launch Hearthstone. you should see an overlay at this point. hit Ctrl+Shift+Backspace to open a menu. Click accept agreement. Then click the red button that says Render Mod Tools shown below

5. Resize the new window so its a little bigger. Then click Refresh Textures. Then click one of the strings of numbers and letters below the Refresh Textures button. Then click Dump Texture to Disk as shown below

6. Close Hearthstone and open your Hearthstone folder in your Program files. There should now be a document called dxgi.ini or it may have no extension name. either way, use notepad to open it. Scroll down until you see the heading [Textures.Cache] below that you will see IgnoreNonMipmapped=false change this to say IgnoreNonMipmapped=true Then, save the document and close it.

7. Open your Blizzard launcher and click the cog next to your play button. Then click game settings as shown below

Click the check box for additional command line arguments then paste -force-dxd11 into the box as shown below. Then click done.

8. Go back to your Hearthstone folder and open the SK_Res folder. You should see a folder called Dump. Create a folder *next to it not inside it* called inject as seen below.

Open the inject folder and add a folder called textures. This textures folder is where your folders from other peoples packs will go. *you do not need a hearthstone.exe folder here.*

9. Check my signature for all the current packs, *extract* one of Tnet's most recent big packs to the inject folder so you can check to see if its working. *a zipped folder will not work. Its contents must be extracted into the inject folder.*

10. Launch hearthstone and pray. Hopefully there are beautiful naked people covering your screen.

Troubleshooting:
There may be some issues you run into. If your card or menu text is not readable then you may need to go back to your dxgi.ini and find the heading [Textures.D3D11] below that you will change Cache=true to Cache=false This may make all your textures in game turn black, if that happens change it back.

If you get a warning that your graphics engine isn't correctly loading textures do this:
Open your dxgi.ini file and find the heading [Textures.Cache] below that change AllowUnsafeRefCounting=false to AllowUnsafeRefCounting=true

If you have any issues please let me know and I will try my best to help.

Hey, i have followed your guide, and i have reached the end with inject folder, overlay showing and working and going into file/browse texture assets the mods i have added are showing but in game no textures are being changed.. any help would be great thanks.

not sure what you mean, i am no using the application version of special k (i was but didn't work), using SKIM64.. i don't see any orange button

Hey Guys :)

Here is my official idiot proof guide to getting this mod to work. I've tested it running windows 10 with no problems. Please follow the instructions exactly.

Step 1: We need a clean install of hearthstone so uninstall Hearthstone if you have already tried to get Special K working. If you have a clean install skip to step 5.

Step 2: Delete your hearthstone folder from your drive to remove any old Special K remnants.

Step 3: Delete your Special K folder from user/documents/my mods folder. If it says a program is running, restart your computer and then delete it. If it still says program is running type startup in your windows search bar to get to your system settings startup programs. turn specialk install manager off so it doesn't start automatically and then restart and delete it.

Step 4: Reinstall Hearthstone.

Step 5: Run Hearthstone. Change your graphics to High. Close Hearthstone.

Step 6: In Battle.net click the settings cog next to the play button. click game settings. Click the check box for [Additional command line arguments] and copy paste -force-d3d11 into the field. It should look like this:

Step 7: Go here and click the blue installer button it may have you install additional windows packages, these are not malicious just click next and yes through the process. I think that page may be updated regularly though so you may end up with a different version than me if you're from the future. I've included the .exe in a zip file just as a backup.

Step 8: Run SKIF (should be in documents>mymods>specialK>SKIF. In the library tab on the bottom right there is a checkbox that says Stop Automatically, uncheck it. Then go to settings tab at top. Near the bottom there is a box that says Whitelist patterns, paste Hearthstone\\ into the box. click save changes

Step 9: Launch Hearthstone again from battle.net launcher, there should be an overlay now, but your text on screen is probably jumbled so close Hearthstone. this step is just to make sure there is an overlay, if there isn't, recheck above steps.

Step 10: Bottom left corner of SKIF is a button called add game, click it. Click browse and find your hearthstone launcher (should be local disk>program files>Hearthstone>Hearthstone. make sure you choose the Hearthstone with an icon not just the folder.) then click open. Click add game.

Step 11: Go to the library tab in SKIF. Hearthstone should now be on your list. click it. below the list there is an option that says Injection strategy:global if it says stopped click the word stopped and it should change to say running. below that is a button that says launch, click it.

Step 12: The game should launch and then crash immediately. Make sure hearthstone has fully closed and then launch the game from battle.net.

Step 13: Launch Hearthstone from battle.net and open the Special K menu in game by hitting Ctrl+Shift+Backspace. Click the red button called Render Mod Tools to open a new window. Click Refresh textures and then select the first texture and click dump to disk: Here's a picture: View attachment 133462 this will create the SK_Res folder and allow you to create the file path for your injected textures.

Step 14: Go back to your Documents>mymods>specialk folder. open the Profiles folder then SK_Res folder. There should be a folder called Dump, add an additional folder next to Dump called Inject and open it. In the inject folder create another folder called Textures and open it ****This is where mods go****.

Step 15: grab a RECENT pack someone has uploaded (The pack in my signature is currently only a preview, I'll update this when I fix my textures.) and extract it into the textures folder you just made. !!make sure you actually pull the files out of the zip or it wont work!!

Step 16: Read the notes below and then Launch Hearthstone and be happy.

Note* There is an options in the settings tab of SKIF called start SKIF with windows and then one right below it called Start global injection service as well. Select both of these if you're playing a lot of hearthstone so you don't have to turn it on every time.

Double Note* if you are having trouble AFTER doing all of this, try turning everything off and back on again.

If you get an error or something doesn't look right let me know and PLEASE include a picture of whats going on.
