For those who don't know, the Deception series, also known as "Kagero" in Japan, is a trap based strategy game were you usually take control of a female protagonist who sets traps to defeat invaders. These invaders can be male or female. The main strategy is to place traps in such a way that they can be comboed, increasing your score and total damage output. It's possible to also get hit by your own traps if you aren't paying attention to where you're standing. It would also appear that in this newest Deception you can apparently strip the clothes off of female enemies if you do enough damage.

Deception IV: Blood Ties should be coming out for the PSVita and PS3 in 2014 for all territories.

Holy crap. I always loved Deception. I wanted to try out Trapt (which I believe is the third installment but lacking the Deception label stateside) but have yet had an opportunity to pick it up.

Golden Horse looks to be one of the additional things from the absurdly expensive deluxe edition, from what I could make out in the trailer.

(Srsly, FFS, $60 is already too damn expensive for me, and that thing's going to be like $90?)

This is the best fucking ryona game I've played this year.=O

I have a question though: How the heck do you kill Zeno in Chapters 2 and 7? No matter how I finish him off (also tried capturing him, but boss enemies of last wave per chapter always proved to be immune to capture), he escapes and at the end of playthrough I'm left with two escaped enemies.

if there is anything i learned from trapt its that there should be a hidden trap that can kill the unkillable

I do believe I tried all manners of traps on him. In CH2 after I reduce his HP to zero, a cutscene starts and you have a dialogue option in it. No matter how I finished him off, or what choice I pick, he escapes. After 4 playthroughs I'm still stuck at 98% killed enemies.

have you tried to reduce his HP to 0 and then throwing him into a cage for capture? I haven't done chapter 7 yet, but i know regardless of your choices in chapter 2 he still escapes.

weediscool - no, I have not tried capturing him in chapter 7. I did, however, try to capture other boss enemies of last waves, and they all proved immune to being captured.
Maybe my kill count is affected like this - sometimes a boss character appears with a sidekick and if you kill the boss before the sidekick, the mission ends, and surviving sidekick is counted as an escape.
