Yes, I read your main post, sir, it suggested that you needed a program which would help you create a list. Perhaps it should be corrected. Aside from that, thank you for uploading this, comprehensive collection, and thanks for using SMF as as your forums of choice. (<3 SMF)

New archive v4.1 and v4.0.1 is out, normally I plan it with his blog but no update this week, so I'm just posting late. If he posts on schedule the next archive won't be quite as large.

Also, I'm already planning out v5.0 when the next version comes out, v5 will have the Mod loader content rearranged so that people won't get so confused.

Basically the loader mods will be moved to the extra content folder and I suppose I'm planning on making a guide thread for the loader in the unforeseen future.

I have a question about skin codes Anon. If I wanted to submit some hair codes I created where exactly do I post them? I read that it is here somewhere here in the master list but there is so many things I don't know where to begin.

Well the second post in this thread has skin codes... and you can post skin codes in the threads for certain imports, or you can post them in the Miscellany board.

Or, if you are feeling fancy and helpful... you can post a .zip file in the same fashion of the archive and I'll merge it into the archive.

Sorry kind sir, but i am somewhat confused:

What exactly is the .exe for? i assumed it had all the custom chars, also those with custom skin, already imported. but that seems not to be the case.. Is it just so that we dont need to play the game in a browser? Because i thought it would be great to have all the chars already in the character list, since the functionelity is implemented.. The list would be uber long ofc., but i think it would be a great addition to your already very helpful list.

Just some thoughts, you might as well keep it all the way it is atm :3

No, the exe is only so you don't have to worry about compatibility problems, the exe comes with a standalone version of flash player suitable for the game. A lot of people have problems with Firefox/IE/Chrome and Flash player and such, this alleviates that problem.

Now for your statement about the custom characters, the problem would be that would be very time consuming (of which I have no time for that, I don't play the game other than for purposes of testing and helping people). Also, I've heard there are bugs when trying to have TOO many saved characters, of which there are 3321 files in the archive, mainly imports, so that would be a lot of saved characters, much too many for the time I have.

New archive. v5.0. I had some errors with uploading, and filesonic put a hold on my account for some reason, so I've uploaded the 4.1.1 to uploading.

You could upload the archive to a SVN-Server (e.g. Source Forge). With SVN (or any other version control system) you only have to upload (or download) new or modified files, you don't have to load the whole set again and again. You should ask Kona if he allows it.

Ok impatient one, first off, if I were to upload to Megaupload, it would take time, it's a big file and upload is slower than download... plus I'm working on fixing bugs right now.

Secondly, I know I've posted this somewhere before. We don't get along well with Megaupload, rapidshare, mediafire, or localhostr, among other sites. We don't and can't agree with their terms of service.

However, the disputes betwee filesonic and ourselves have been resolved and the archive will be uploaded to filesonic again starting with the next archive.

A lot of people have been complaining about the long times for the download. (of which filesonic has graciously decided to not ban me [who knows why they wanted to ban me])

I could split up the archive into parts and upload all of the parts to all three hosts, that way you can download three parts at the same time from the three different locations. Does that sound like a good idea?

I know a lot of you have requested various upload sites, but I do have reasons for not using your favorite upload station. All of them very legitimate in my opinion.

Backgrounds in the archive contain adult content (which I could remove) and the game contains adult content. I have no intent of uploading to a site where I might get banned, I only want to upload to someplace that I can call home. I can upload cotent to XYZ but if I violate their terms of service and get banned, I have to move someplace else. I'd rather not have to do that, or have to reupload the archive twice a day every day.

What about Megarotic/Megaporn/whatever-it's-called? Megaupload's porn-based sister site. Adult content wouldn't be a problem there, although strictly speaking I suppose most of the content is copyright infringement.

Maybe, I'll look into that maybe, though from my experience most porn based download sites are FULL of spyware ads and other crap that computers hate.
