I mean, I'm the type who needs more than just a single image of a character to know if I like them or not. I need to get to know them as a character and all that.Ryonaneer wonder if this girl is one you’ll find cute
Ah funny you mention battle queen. I made videos on the stun and the discord server for the creator.
Shanoa, my beloved edgy girl ~~<3Thanks for the extensive reply, Thief, I will respond soon when I have time. There's totally things I want to reply to.
For now, what do you mean Maria has Symphony of the Night version in Grimoire? Are you sure? I've NEVER seen that version of her in the game, and looking through all the menus, I'm seeing nothing that suggests she is there.
However, I did finally make enough progress to record these!

Shanoa's is more awkward since it doesn't seem to have a perfect loop, like it has a bit of startup first and then I can't seem to get the animation to loop as she's not dizzy long enough. This is because the beam attack that I found that dizzies you tosses the character up, then they slide along the ground, THEN are in dizzy animation. If there's something that just normal hitstuns into dizzy, it might work better.
Charlotte's is more simple but I actually like it a lot, that general posing is one of my all-time favorites for this kind of thing, though it'd be way better if her hair was more spilling over her shoulders and we we could see a dazed expression etc but that's what I can address in FightStar...
It also looks like Charlotte has a witch costume and Shanoa has a dress costume with her hair tied up. But tbh I'm not sure I have it in me to play this game deep enough to get that, especially not before my trial period runs out on Arcade. Still, I'm glad I FINALLY got a high quality gif of that Charlotte stun, I've wanted that for a long time lol
Damn, Maria looking cute there. I dunno if I have it in me to grind. At least in Abyssdia you can have them auto-play a lot of stuff to get you through the base progression…Later in Grimoire of Souls you unlock "sub-characters" who you can call forth to temporarily play as during a stage run. These include Richter, Trevor, Soma, Graham and Maria as seen here.
Ya have screenshot of this game?New game that might be worth a look: Limit Zero Breakers. Follows the same formula as usual, characters played by element, dodge, parry and switch to relentlessly attack and use ultimates on staggered enemies. Even the whole plot of evil world of darkness seeping into the real world through broken glass like breaches and its influence is creating monsters and corrupting people, amnesiac MC included.
Insufferable rant aside, the game does look very good and is very well animated. The characters also have neat designs, even if they don't move away from their anime archetype very much. And in a nice twist, they actually don't try to imitate the Genshin/Honkai or ZZZ designs.
Now the reason I bring this game up is because at least in it's early development stages (when it was just called Breakers Unleash the World) there was a stun status effect, though I only saw it inflicted on enemies. Though I don't know if it was kept in this version or they did away with it. I watched some gameplay and haven't seen any status effects aside some vague buffs. Doesn't help that most player almost never get even hit.
EDIT: The newest Seven Knights has stuns. It's a bit hard to see because of how fast paced combats are and all the information on the screen, but it's there.
The blue text in my message links to youtube vids with footage of the games. I thought it would be better than keep cluttering the thread with vids.Ya have screenshot of this game?
Yeah, had that gripe with the game as well. At the very least the Guilty Gear girls from the collab kept her animations from Xrd while using their Strive designs.View attachment 175794
counterside unpacked... There're a few nice animations but Most characters' stun is just cover head with hands and no other movements. kinda boring. I'm not sure if I will export the animation frames and convert to gif, but I can provide the spine files if you have interst of recording them.
I heard that game has dedicated dizzy animations for each character, huh?View attachment 175798StarSavior unpacking... This game's file structure is a total mess. Didn't take long to find a decryption method online, but tweaking the code took some time. And turns out, the unpacked bundles are all named after hash values, with audio, UI, art, models, and animations all crammed together. I have to open them one by one just to see if there are any models. Unpacking 3D games like this is just so tedious.
And on top of that, I’m a total Blender newbie, so now I have to spend time learning how to use the software too.![]()

This twitter has collected some vids of the animations of the game and several screenshots.I heard that game has dedicated dizzy animations for each character, huh?
Say, I know it's rather out of place to ask given the huge effort you have been making, but... can you add a dizzy effect (starts or whatever is easier) to the animations? Like in the game itself.View attachment 175812
Finally got these models done after grinding all day. You can drop character requests, I may record when I have the time and patience.
I did consider that, but the extracted star effects aren't working right now. Guess I'll see if I can find another way tomorrow. Also, being too low-key feels a bit weird to me. Just say it however you want :) .Say, I know it's rather out of place to ask given the huge effort you have been making, but... can you add a dizzy effect (starts or whatever is easier) to the animations?
