Say, Zaysha or if anybody can help me. Was thinking about trying out Bluestacks to go for games I'm interested in. Some are japan only so I can't just use the store on my phone to download them and working around the region lock through VPN seems like a pain. Was thiking then about Bluestacks, this is the best emulator choice or there's a better one? So I just download it, download the game I want to play and that's it or is more complicated than that? Just wanted to make sure before installing stuff on my computer.

Wish I knew, I'm still trying to take down the US game stores atm. I keep finding stuff... I'll resume back again with everything, I'm a bit busy and some battles in Exos Heroes aren't giving me the right animation atm.

I recall you mentioned you were using Bluestacks, but it was a long time ago. So you mean Bluestacks kept puttings in your PC or something? I don't follow the whole "trying to take down the US game stores" part. My bad

I still have bluestacks to run Android games on my PC since I only have an iphone since some games are limited to apple and some games are limited to android. Whatever becomes too big to play on my iphone goes into my bluestacks if I can transfer my profile (or I start anew). I'm sure you can use bluestacks to place JPN/KOR stuff but you would need a VPN service to fake that you are from JPN/KOR/SEA to browse their store. HaquaFan said he got blocked from CHN.

I see. The particular game I wanna try first is Bravely Default Brilliant Lights, which is Japan only and is ending service at the end of February. There's actually some good animations there as I posted before, but the game didn't really take off so finding footage of it was pretty hard to begin with and it pretty much died when the service ending notice came around. However, I did manage to find most animations only lacking four characters, so guess I can try my luck with them. In order to download the game I still need a Japanese Google account and a VPN to enter the Japan Store anyways right?

I did find the game for download outside the story, but all the site seemed pretty suspicious so I didn't download from them and Bluestacks itself doesn't have the room, well... it actually does in this review, but I'm pretty iffy on it, even if its from the Bluestacks site. If I have to go all the way with a Jap account and a VPN then it's not really different to just get it for the phone and much safer. I am actually a bit wary Bluestacks will carry some weird stuff into the computer.

EDIT: BTW, you mentioned in your twitter that Dusk Diver 2 has stun animations? Have you seen them actually? I actually went through that game and never stumbled across anything of the sort. Kinda like Anno Mutationem, supposedly there is a stun status for Ann when she takes heavy hits, but never happened in my pIaythrough, finished the game and only certain enemies could be put under it.

Yes there are stuns, I saw Yumo get stunned standing up, but most of the time, I get stunned while being knocked down. Been doing the big blue hammer guy but (end of the chapter 6), it must be the other one with lightning and the not the purple smoke explosion one. I'll try again tonight.

Ungh Anastasia is being a b---- in Exos Heroes since she 'flies' backwards in getting killed. 5+ hrs and not really any good screen time. I'm going to skip her in the meantime and move on.

Can't help you bluestacks unfortunately, but that sucks that service is going down. My friend is like saying buy a refurbished google phone and just make that JPN/SEA only or something.

I check frequently despite not having any alt twitter accounts I can use to interact with the ryona posts lol, they’ve been great lately resurgence of stun animations in ryona vids/posts is nice to see, but do remember to take breaks if it’s too much work
