Awesome! I'd almost forgotten about this game, thought the guy would never release it. This looks to be like a lot of advancement over the original NS, he deserves kudos for his hard work :D

When I first played the game I got a bunch of errors, but the game just continued without problems when I hit "Ignore", so those will probably have no meaning. After I played through the game the first time with the rogue girl I hardly get errors anymore.
Also, it seems attack 2 (the default "x" key) doesn't work if you assign it to another key. If you have reassigned it to another button open "controller.ini" and replace the second and third line with "ATTACK1=89" and "ATTACK2=88", then it should work again.

Someone who got past that first boss? That snake Monster? i cant seem to do enough damage with my weapons. Every time i hit it, i do only 5-8 Damage Points. Someone who got some tips for me?

P.S.: im already at lvl 7.

Did you remember to stat up? You do need those levels to be able to beat it. Otherwise, essentially just spam your two regular attack buttons when you're close to it. Oh, and remember to utilize your thrown weapons. Obviously, also dodge. There really isn't much else you can do. His attacks are fairly easy to dodge, just jumping over. Don't even need to dash.

You don't need to spend your attribute points and upgrade your weapons to beat the game, I've already played through half of this demo before I figured out how to actually do that. ^^

You can easily make ~6-hit combos by combining your secondary attack with your primary attack, e.g. Dagger->Dagger->Dagger->Sword->Sword->Sword.
The first boss has 4 different attacks, he will always start with a firewave, then a spear trust, then an tail sweep and then a throw and he repeats the whole chain.
You should be able to land 1-2 combos between each attacks of him, against the firewave you need to dash backwards and then jump over it, against all other attacks you can just hit Down, Down after the attack animation started to get behind him and continue attacking him.

Well I can't say I played further then the boss, considering I got tired of repeating from the start :P

But I must say the game is looking very very good. It looks like he has quite a lot of new ryona type content planned for it. Only disappointment (on my part) was no new h-content.

To be honest I never entirely finished the previous Nightmere Sphere, I did get very far but then got lost and couldn't find how to continue (I got past one or more magical barriers, so that is already pretty far. When I went to the boss screen however I notice there were still quite a few empty ones).

You don't really need a specific combo in the demo, as far as I saw. I literally just spammed z,x,z,x,z,x,etc. as fast as possible and it basically became a never ending stream of attacks.

Okay, I went back and tried it. I guess it ISN'T endless, but it certainly felt like it. I don't think the order matters for the combo, so long as it's overall 3 button presses of each, coming to a total of 6. Then you can also do the upwards cut or whichever special-ish technique you want.

The comments make mention of self-mutilation, and from what I can tell, he is depressed following a breakup with someone partially related to the lack of income that can be generated with making games. He has reverted to drinking, apparently inflicting self-harm, and I'm assuming is considering giving up games for all the trouble it's causing him. I could be entirely wrong, as I'm just making assumptions from comments; I sort of hope that I am, but I sincerely wish that nothing severe is happening. He can give up creating games, but my heart goes out to his wellness.

You can set your respawn point to any shrine/altar you come across by pressing UP when you're stand right next to it (you'll be teleported to a new room); even if you don't do that you can just teleport to any shrine you want by clicking on it on the map in the menu.

Christ. I think it might be a good idea for him to stop and get some help. Self-mutilation and self-medication are really really not good signs.
