Kasumi, compared to most of the other fighters in the DOA universe, has the advantage of speed. Most of the time, she is able to move in quickly and deliver her strikes, then getting out quickly before her opponent can react or counter. However, there are times where her speed could be neutralised and she is forced to trade blows with her opponent. Unfortunately, where she excels in speed and reflexes, she may not be better than her opponents in power and toughness.

In this image, several powerful strikes had slipped past her defences, her flesh getting the brunt of it. She had tried to tense up her stomach muscles, but the punches were powerful and easily went through her toned abs.

After a big exchange with her opponent, Kasumi is feeling breathless, trying not to keel over from the pain and vomit.
