I have found an amazing amount of zako images, the problem is that I don't know what games they are all from, some I do, some I don't. Can you help identify them? There are A LOT. Here is the link to them, it's a wiki dedicated to female game enemies:

ZakoÂ

Here are the pics. If you recognize a zako then please share with us.

WOW. Hell of a find! I do see a lot of zako that have already been mentioned before in the Zako thread. However, there are some that have not been mentioned but I recognize.

Image 1:
Lower middle of the image; the woman in the pink suit and red hair with her fists up is from Growl.
To the right of her, the blue-clad chick with the gun is from Robocop VS The Terminator for the Genesis, but can only be encountered through the use of the "Violence" cheat.
Below her wearing the green looks familiar, but I forget where she's from.
Bottom right; the kunoichi with pinkish-purple skin is from Sengoku 3.
Far left; the chick holding two knows out wearing orange and blue looks familiar too.

Image 2:
Upper left, wearing all pink with the claws is Ms. Chan from Crest of Wolf.
Right below the big, red dragon, wearing all pink in the cop hat and holding a whip stick is also from Crest of Wolf. I forget her name, though.
The chicks on bikes look familiar. Are they from Battle Circuit? Nah, scratch that.
Middle bottom; another purple-skinned kunoichi from Sengoku 3, and to her left, Okuni, a boss and unlockable character in Sengoku 3.
Bottom right, the blonde holding the knife wearing the purple pantyhose is from Solitary Fighter aka Violence Fight 2. Not a playable fighter, sadly.

Image 3:
I have no idea who any of them are, sadly.

Image 4:
All I can identify are the two blondes wearing gray at the very bottom towards the middle. They are actually the same character. On the left is Filea and on the right is Tesya, both from SNES fighting game Battle Blaze. Filea is from the Japanese version, while Tesya is from the North American version, hence why she's showing less skin in the latter version as part of the infamous censorship of the SNES days.

Again, those are just ones I can identify that haven't been mentioned in the Zako topic. I do see familiars like Electra, Carol and Brenda, and the amazon from Golden Axe, amongst others. Again, a great find. I'd love to know who a lot of these are and what games they're from.

We should all write near or underneath what game they are from and identify as many as possible.

To the right of her, the blue-clad chick with the gun is from Robocop VS The Terminator for the Genesis, but can only be encountered through the use of the "Violence" cheat.

Ahah! Vaguely familiar. I'd definitely like to try that cheat out soon. Doesn't the SNES version (inferior from what I remember, but quite different) have rifle wielding zako by default?

Right below the big, red dragon, wearing all pink in the cop hat and holding a whip stick is also from Crest of Wolf. I forget her name, though.

I was wondering about her, I thought she might be from a pirate-themed game? Ah, cop hat. Got it. Looks very hot; will investigate.

There are loads of hotties on those lists.

I'm not sure about the SNES version. I've never played it. Heck, the zako from that one might be somewhere on one of these images, for all we know lol. There's so many. It's like a treasure trove.

I do agree about labeling them as we go. I can get started with that later, unless someone wants to jump on that now. It can serve as a sort of database lol.

Also, I think I remember that boss from Crest of Wolf's name now! I think it's Shauna. She's the boss of Stage 2, if I remember correctly.

Post split into a new thread, this should be fun! Sorry for the delay.

A couple of quickies :

Image 1
Middle left : The snakewoman with the bow is the disappointing zako from Arabian Fight.
Second-to-bottom row in the middle : The green-bikini wearing blonde is from Dungeon Magic. I loved doing the frankensteiner on her!

Image 2
Top row , middle of the line : The redhead is from Violent Storm.
Fifth row , middle of the line : The snakewoman here is from the old Hippodrome game.

How shall we do this? Anyone want to somehow put a name of a game next to an image as we go along? I actually know quite a few of these, more than a lot of you I'm guessing, just want to know how people want to keep it updated before I add to it.

There has to be a better way than "second from right wearing purple on picture 2"

^I thought about it, and the only way I can think of that doesn't require updating the images after every single post (a very tedious prospect) would be to change the original images so that each zako has a number attached to her, and then we write our replies like so :
No2 is from Vendetta
No4 is from Time Crisis
(...)

So if someone has that kind of time, they're welcome to do it, otherwise does someone have a better idea?

That seems like the best idea, it looks really time consuming but I don't think it would take too long to edit the images and put numbers underneath each picture so I'm quite happy to do that. Might even get the chance a bit later on

Yeah, it can be easily edited in Paint. It would be easier if it were just one editable post, but that isn't really possible.

I won't be able to contribute more until I get on my computer later to edit the image. Time to really dig down hard and see where all of these lovely zako come from.

OK as you can see I've added numbers to the first of the four images, didn't realise how many there were!

See if you can ID some of those ones while I add numbers to the other pics

Great work, Snakes, it was exactly what we needed! It must have been very time-consuming so well done :-) After enough replies are gathered, I can edit the zakos we have identified into the first post if needed.

Yeah, #2 is from Shadow of Mystara. In addition to the other drow you fight, those would jump in, shoot at you, then jump out.
Also, some of these are not zako, but rather bosses.

21: Valvalis/Barbariccia, Final Fantasy IV
66: Suikoden
79: Castlevania - Symphony of the Night
120: Looks like the playable female from Undercover Cops. Was there a recolor or dopple enemy?
150: Altima, Final Fantasy Tactics
170: Queen Ant, Suikoden
207: Final Fantasy IV
228: Dungeons and Dragons: Shadow over Mystara

Also, watch out on that fourth image, I'm seeing quite a few duplicates.

OK, this is what I have based on my previous post as well as new knowledge:

67, 68: Bishin Densetsu Zoku - The Legend of Bishin (they're actually playable in VS Mode)
75: The Revenge of Shinobi (someone mentioned this above, but she's from this one, not the original)
95: Robocop VS The Terminator
131: Crest of Wolf
135: Arabian Magic
165: Bishin Densetsu Zoku - The Legend of Bishin (also playable in VS Mode)
175: Solitary Fighter (Violence Fight 2)
218: Crest of Wolf
264: The Revenge of Shinobi

That's what I have, for now. Once Image 4 is organized, I'll add more. It is much easier to see what all is in these images with them organized. Many thanks to snakesonaplane for that.

OK people I have finished adding numbers to all the pictures, it took a lot longer than I thought it would. So please make the effort worth it, help ID these enemies. Agree with Mardion that putting a list in the first post is a good idea.
