Hello. I am glad that imprisonment of zako is not just my love. I prefer zakos as criminal thugs so for me it is logical they will be jailed in common prison.
I like concept of mixing zako and prison fetisch.

As for more military style zakos detention as POW is more logical.

I just want to point out, real quick, that the zakos in image 2(6.jpg) are NOT dead. They are from an image series were they are simply knocked out, including a main villainess, named Vixen(she has the more richly purple outfit and yellow boots)

Not sure about the others, most in the first set seem dead(maybe the bumblebee delmos?), and potentially a few in the second set. But the only one I know for sure are alive is the janitor one.

Now, regarding Zako bodies. I think it makes sense for one of two things to occur, depending on the scenario: (I am also assuming fatal, since ofc we wouldnt have corpses if this was my preferred Aika style zako fighting)
A- The hero crushes the base. In this case any dead zakos are probasbly left where they fell, just by virtue of no one being there to bury them. Or at least until officials secure the scene. While dumpsters are fun, if they are already dead it would be a lot of effort for not much reward on the hero's part. Time that could be better spent fighting more zakos.
B- The zakos are killed by the org still controls the territory. In this case, the zakos must bury them quickly. After all, exposed corpses might bring the attention of the authorities in.

Of course, this all assumes normal conditions. Let's look at some unique scenarios -
A: Zakos that "vanish" when they die. This can be seen in the Shermans(Shamans) from God Mazinger. Also anything where they self destruct, etc.
[And iirc, the non-Shaman troops dont always vanish, though admittedly making bodies just vanish was common back then)
B: Revival or necromancy. If a faction can bring its soldiers back to life, collecting the bodies isn't just respect, cleanliness, or etc. It is logistics.
C: Recycling. This is mostly for robot style ones, but could also work for a frankenstein style zako. Or more generically, for a very cold faction it could mean stripping equipment and weapons.

Anyway, I think killing girls is too cruel, Yes females bodypiles beautiful, but, they could be forced to wedding, it's a way better!

You can have both. Knock them out, and throw them into a pile.

An organization that hired zakos can also (try to) remove the bodies of their henchwomen from the neutral territory. In the case of the Saints, even their assets were terminated.

It is possible that similar organization would try to not simply bury the corpses but rather physically destroy them.

Let's look at some unique scenarios

Stripping the decent equipment and weapons is rather effective than cold. But stripping parts of the skimpy uniforms, unstainted by blood and undamaged by bullets, from the different corpses so the new zako(s) could dress the full suit(s) is cold. Of course, nobody would think of washing it before giving to the next expendable bimbo. The good guys can also strip some dead zakos and give their outfit to the female agents so they would be able to infiltrate the zako base.

True, that could be used. I feel like that would fit a more savage style more. Like gobblin style zakkos might have their corpses fed to warbeasts. Or a WHFB chaos style army might feed the dead to the spawns.

It is both effective AND cold. Or rather, if they ONLY take (or even just go to the bodies) to get the equipment back, then it is cold. Of course, any group that takes bodies back will likely take the equipment and reuse it anyways. So it is more of the why. As for washing, honestly zakos often seem pretty clean. I imagine they at least do their laundry. Not sure if an Aika zako ever even had dust on her suit!

True, this actually comes up a lot both in the zako fandom, and also a lot of mainstream spy media. Of course, in that case the focus was usually on getting the uniform rather than happening to take one out and getting it.

I tried to say that some zakos would feel very uncomfortable if they knew that another women died in the clothes they wear. And they would feel even more uncomfortable if they knew that this clothes weren't washed. It is all about the fear of dead people, not about the zako's hygiene.
It opens some new question though. If a zako fears the corpses, would she be able to stand between the dead bodies of her friends and fight or she would try to run and let the good guys to put a bullet or two in her back? And if she survived the battle, would she refuse to help in the cleaning the battlefield from the corpses?

I am more of a model side person tbh, but yeah, WHFB has some fun scenes. And a lot of lovely units. If Zako and WHFB crossed over more, I'm sure witch elves would be prolific.

For the first part, I definitelty agree, knowing you wore the clothing of someone who died would be unnerving. Especially if that is common.

But for the washing, we must have standards! We need out zakos to be clean, at least until the heroes beat them up! After all, these are our paradeground armies!

I imagine that, in the heat of the moment, the presence of corpses themselves might not effect her. Rather, if the bodies would, it would be the sound of them dying that might terrify her.

I would also add that sometimes letting a few run in terror(making sure they arent just retreating) can be an effective tactics to cause mass routs, that is if the zako enemies are extra low on morale.

I doubt they would refuse to clean the corpses up at all(unless they are afraid the killer is still tere). But I could see some refusing to reuse the clothing.

To be honest i think idea of elfs/drow zakos are very underrated.

Well, I think drow zakos are common-ish, by elf standards at least. But yeah, elves arent too common as zakos.

Thaf's probably because elves, thematically, are usually a more "elite" species, so zakos would usually contradict that.

I actually prefer zakos dealt with non-lethally! However, that hardly fit the burial thread, so went with the more extreme case.

Plus, if they got arrested the authorities probably seized their uniform.
