.Mod files saving as VLC? (1 Viewer)

When I download .Mod files they save as VLC files, so I can't open them. Any help?

.mod is technically a video extension, so it fine that vlc wants to open those.

however, as for sdt .mod files, you don't open those anyway. they are loaded through sdt. they are actually zipped up .swf files, but given the .mod extension to indicate that they require the loader.

I do have the loader, When I go into the modding tab and click on the swf thing the .mod file isn't there

That's exactly what would happen if you were using vanilla SDT. You must be running sdt.swf and not the loader.swf.
