are there any updated tutorial on how to get the textures to work? for me the game wont open anymore no matter what i do. i opened it once using specialk and saw the updated textures in the menu but then it crashed. ive tried uninstalling the game and everything and still wont open even through battle net.

in my case, the latest 36.0 update caused hearthstone to crash when starting with SK, and removing .ini file recovered it. SK seems to conflict with latest Hearthstone with some configuration enabled I roughly assume. before that, there was an issue with DumpOnFirstLoad=true, asked SK developers for the solution, and removing the dump directory contents helped.

in my case, Documents\My Mods\SpecialK\Profiles\Hearthstone.exe\SpecialK.ini
SK will recreate the ini file with the default setup and my SK-Hearthstone worked without failure afterwards.

also Documents\My Mods\SpecialK\Profiles\Hearthstone.exe\Sk_Res\dump for some cases (against DumpOnFirstLoad=true)

Here's my previous experience. Try updating SK / removing dump directory and ini file.

yeah for me i dont have the .ini file or the dump directory. i reinstalled hearthstone and sk and tried to just launch hearthstone vanilla but it doesnt open anymore, it says hearthstone is running in task manager but i cant see it on my taskbar or anything. is there any discord or something where chatting might be easier?

Found the upload limits to 100MB, my BG brew / avatar brew is over the limit, and now I need to split files. wow.

Hello, I have done what you said about the .ini & the dump. First time trying Special K and when everything is clear, game lauch with the Mod Launching Image then before going in the main menu, I got a crash & then the game won't launch again.
I can redo the things (delete .ini etc...) & the same thing happen, launch, intro, crash, can't launch...
Anything more to do ?

i had the same problem, im not sure exactly how to fix it to get it running properly again, as i had to delete every hearthstone folder and special k folder i could find. after you reinstall everything and its fine, try deleting just the .ini config file, turn on the special k service with the app, then launch hearthstone through blizzard. if you still have problems join the special k discord and ill try and help you better there.
