I import the hair on the modding tab but it shows a small picture of the hair at the top left corner. Help plz

You may have clicked the Background button instead of the Hair button. Both of the Browse dialogs will accept PNG files, and the buttons are immediately adjacent to each other.

Reset the game and try again.

If it still doesn't work, tell us which hairstyle you're using (preferably with a hyperlink) and provide a screenshot of the error state.

You downloaded the preview thumbnail of a hairstyle PNG. You're usually supposed to click on the image (which will open the full-sized PNG in a new tab) and then save the full-sized PNG file. The file that you obtain should be relatively large: 1200 x 2400 pixels and 100-200 kilobytes.

I can't tell you where to find it exactly, because you didn't tell me which hairstyle it is (and the tiny version in the screenshot is too small to discern). Return to the threads of any artists you've visited recently, and then scroll through until you find something that looks familiar.
