I have created the artwork for a demo, and can improve this to specs, but it's in Photoshop layers, not in vector form.

The key here is making the eyes look like the actual character. However, It seems to me that the mechanics of the eyes would need to be changed too and thus making this impossible? But I thought I'd throw the idea out there to see if someone was inspired.
