i also love to see wonder woman in peril...especially in a frontal bear hug...i have seen some giga and zen movies and they have some of the best bear hugs around.....don't really care for the sexuall stuff from some of them....i would rather just see them beat up on the heroine more than do that.....

i also like it when the heroine is wearing a spandex outfit instead of a cotton one...the spandex is sexier...shiny tights on under it also work...like i said before the zen and giga have some of the best bear hugs around, other companies hugs are to short or sometimes come across lame....zen/giga hugs last for a few minutes with good angles and show real peril for the heroine...love that...the stuff that western companies are starting to make now are getting way better...not so cheesy...there movies are shorter. but they also are trying to tell a story threw a bunch of movies. in a row..not just one long one....so you have to fit a story in each one...but i like them...the heroines are getting hotter....lol

I use the above sites quite a lot, SHG-Media features a lot of material and HeroineMovies gives great previews and reviews. Heroine Legends are ok, their fight choreography is pretty good and the girls are great. I don't really like NGC but they are very popular and have a MASSIVE following. I prefer SHG-Media, Punished Heroines/ Rye, Damien Woods and Alex Bettingers work such as SuperheroineWorld, Prostylefantasies etc.

Thank the heavens, Shadowstar has returned and all is well again. Clocking in at around 10 minutes long, this is a short feature so I already knew I'd want more before I even started watching. How does our heroine fare in this feature?



Merissa Porter is looking as gorgeous as ever, maybe even more so. I could watch that shapely bum of hers all day and they choose some good angles to show her off without being too exploitative. I actually like that here as I feel NGC occupies a unique realm in the fetish heroine universe. Not that there's anything wrong with overt cheesecake (as seen in the delightful TBFE release "Redwing"). She is one of the best actresses in the biz at selling pain. The faces she makes and the way she contorts her body in reaction to get kicked, punched, slammed or whatever is truly admirable.



A new villainess, Lieutenant Marina Hornblood, steps up to take Shadowstar down here. She has a great, intimidating look, which makes it disappointing that she has to use underhanded tactics to bring Shadowstar down. I was really looking forward to seeing Shadowstar just straight dominated physically, but that isn't the case here. In fact, I would have liked to have seen this fight be much more one-sided. That's not the story they're trying to tell though, so chalk that up to my personal preference. If you like your heroines to be strong and your villains to be sneaky, then this will only make you like this scenario more.

Punches to the face, punches to the body, a reverse bearhug, an over the knee backbreaker, facebuster KO and Shadowstar being carried over the shoulder at the end of the canon ending. The alternate ending sees Shadowstar punching Marina out and walking out victorious.

I could have done without the plot exposition at the beginning as well, though I know there are many out there who enjoy the storylines from NGC and the FSS universe. I can't say I've kept up with it all, but there does seem to be a fair bit of intrigue to go with the peril. In the future, I'd rather there just be more punishment for Shadowstar or a couple of minutes that just showcase her body (like the stretching scene in her first appearance).



I'd also like to see them go back to the original premise, which was kind of like the Running Man but with hot superheroine babes getting crunched. For me, they should have left the more plot-driven videos to the NGC side of things and used FSS strictly for ryona scenarios where the girls are pounded over and over again. That sounded kind of sick, didn't it?



If you love Shadowstar like I do, there's no reason you shouldn't pick this one up. Just remember that members get the video early (this won't be out for everyone until Monday) and you get a small discount too. Signing up for the mailing list is free so... get to it!



I still feel like they haven't done their best work with Shadowstar yet and I'd kill if she got a multi-part story like Angel and Bluebird. Holding my breath until my face turns blue.

I like giga/akiba/zen... Someone mentioned before really liking the hugs those companies produce. I'd agree with that. They do too much with sex and torture and rape that I dont dig at all, but when they have a straight up peril flick, I usually dig it. Shg movies are good. I mostly stick with companies that have good hugs. I used to like heroine legends but they are pretty story arc driven and I dont care much for that. NGC too, but some of the squashes they make I have to buy.

NGC and myself (my PG side) create PG-13 videos for a very specific segment of the market. Those fans are very numerous which is why we continue to make those videos... I also have an adult-rated site: DefeatedHeroines.com - maybe it's up your alley, maybe it isn't, but it's another option for a different crowd (with the exception of some crossovers) than the PG material. ;)

Hello, and welcome to the forum :) I would ask that you don't turn this into a illegal video sharing thread, since that is not allowed... but discussing is ok!

I meant to write here earlier but was too busy. My favs heroines in peril are Wonder Woman, Supergirl, Pink Ranger, Sailor Moon girls, but also other heroines who dress in sexy spandex costumes. Good for me that spandex seems to be almost like a uniform for superheroines :D

Saddly I don't remember many of the video names of my favs, but most of them are japanese and made by Zen or Giga. Too bad Zen seems to have no idea what to do these days :(

From western videos I like some that Rye has made, but most them just don't kinda have enough of violence and humiliation that I would like to see. Paris also had some studio who made really sexy videos (I can't remember the name). They focused mainly on humiliating the heroines after their defeat, which made those vids great to watch. Heroine Legends and NGC I hate. I'm not sure who is their audience. IMO their vids suck.

I really miss those heroine suppression, body blow and hard suppression stuff. I wonder why GIGA didn't bring back "Miss Martial" and "Metal Woman", I prefer them over the "traditional" Japanese characters (eg. sailor moon).

I don't like heroine legends as well. Some say their fight choreography is good but I think it's boring.

SHG-media has improved overall, yet still not much violence elements.

Man, this title thread seemed a bit misleading to me since it was stickied. I thought it was gonna be some sorta comprehensive overview of the different superheroine production companies XD
I was wondering if someone could explain what's the difference between AKIBA/GIGA/ZEN/ZEUS videos? Obviously they're all different production companies or something but what I mean is could someone tell me what they specialize in?

i think they're all under the same wing at this point? giga/zen are at least. they're both heroine sites, zen usually doesn't go on the adult side of things, meanwhile giga is basically just porn at this point and doesn't even pretend to care about action or anything else.
