I need a program that can unpack .pak files

Lots of games use compressed files with a pak extension, but formats vary (there is no universal unpacker). What game do you want to work on?

I have just tested it out. I renamed a pak file in zip. Maybe 11. pak in 11.zip. I can open this file und could Change colours models or something else. Save as pak again. All no Problem.

I just tried 11.zip it still a no

1) rename your pak file in zip. Maybe 11.pak in 11.zip
2) Let it open and Change your "Thing".
3) Save as pak file.

Open it and Close it again after changing.

Might it be the zip software he is using and not the file he is renaming.

I use .rar and .zip is the main file all people get first i can try opening it though zip and see not renaming it

Program not format. Do you use WinRAR, ZipMagic, WinZip or some other program. There are lots of programs to open these file formats.
