Recently, the townsfolk near Eclair's base have been dying mysterious deaths. Their brains exploded from inside their skulls for seemingly no reason. The only clue is that these victims all perished near an ominous cave. Eclair has been tasked to check out the area.
For a while, the cave seems to be empty. As Eclair treks deeper, she feels something squishy underneath her boots. She looks down and sees brain splattered all over the ground. This is it. Whoever is responsible for these deaths must be in here.
Eclair hears bats screeching. She pays it no attention at first, but the noise gets louder and louder. To Eclair's dismay, the pitch is rising as well. Soon, she begins to groan in agony from the high pitched noise. Eclair shakes her head furiously, as if trying to rattle the noise out of her head. It's no noise. Instead, the sound is getting louder. Eclair has trained every part of her body to tolerate all forms of pain. For even a warrior like her to be moaning in pain, she knows these are no ordinary bats.
Eclair's nightmare worsens as more bats show up to screech into her ears. Unable to stand the pain anymore, Eclair at last begins to scream. But deep inside this cave, there's no one around to save her. She knows who is responsible for the villagers' deaths now. These screeches make Eclair feel like her brain has been put onto a frying pan. If this keeps up, she fears her brain will erupt into fragments.
As if to test Eclair's limits, even more bats show up. By now, Eclair is rolling around the floor, screaming in utter agony. Despite covering her ears and digging a finger into her ear drums, the screeches continue to assault her brain. Eclair no longer even had the power to run. Her brain is occupied by one thing--pain.
After about ten minutes of torture, Eclair's brain finally reaches its limit and explodes. Eclair came to this cave to protect the villagers. Instead, she became a new victim of the Hell Bats.
