We already had a request for this character, so I've merged the two threads together for the sake of tidiness. You're free to reply to this thread if you need to discuss details or answer questions. If you're just adding new reference images that you've found, then I would encourage you to simply

It seems like you're currently searching the Internet for reference images. That's good, but I would encourage you to
re-watch the show (in high definition if possible) and try to generate side-view references by taking
screen captures. Side views tend to occur frequently in anime -- when characters are walking, when two characters are speaking, when a character points a firearm, etc...
The side view of the hairstyle that you've provided has
good composition and clean lines, but it's inconveniently
small. I could potentially extract
most of the necessary details from it, but the braids are partially obscured and the bangs would be difficult to trace. The hair also shows very few highlights, in spite of the bright sunlight. It would be nice to have a
side-view anime screenshot which could serve as a secondary reference.
SWF would be appreciated :)
Are you asking for a
static or dynamic hairstyle?
If you want a dynamic hairstyle then you'll probably need to wait longer. Only
SyntaxTerror
and I are creating this type of mod at the moment, so you wouldn't see any progress until one of us is available to work on your request.
If you want a static hairstyle then it might be wise to drop the "SWF" stipulation. There are several artists active at the moment who create PNG hairstyles, and they can usually complete a hairstyle
more quickly than a Flash modder. These guys can potentially add subtle shading or color details to the hairstyle based on their own talent and imagination, which could make the mod more visually interesting. The downside to a static hairstyle (regardless of whether it's PNG or SWF) is that the braids would be completely rigid.
If you really want an animated version of the hairstyle (and you're willing to wait) then that's fine. Just edit your post to explain that you want a "dynamic SWF" so that modders and artists will clearly understand your requirements.
Either way, please try to find those additional side-view references. They'll be important
regardless of which type of hair mod you're seeking.
