I use DownloadHelper for Firefox, it can grab any of the resolutions of a YT video, and handles any other website as far as I can tell. Credit to d£t for setting me up with that one, I can't stand those niche "applets" for doing one silly thing. I always prefer a plug-in or at least a program that's more than a one-trick pony.
