All I get is a "no such file exception" any time I try to add a game.
It won't FUCKING launch. I hate this AND java. fuck both of them.
this might not get answered and I'm okay with that, but i would like to address a problem I'm having, hoping someone can help. I am getting an error message reading "AccessDeniedException: dx11proxy64.dll -> C:\Programfiles (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\games\Assassins Creed Origins The Curse Of The Pharaohs\d3d11.dll" any advice would be greatly appreciated
Make sure you don't have JDK intalled, ONLY install JRE x64. Otherwise Resorep.jar will attempt to use JDK and will fail to launch.
how the hell are you supposed to use this? no instructions or anything
Once it gets hooked onto an application the application wont launch. Pretty useless rn
Doesnt Even Work. This Thing Sucks. Cant Believe I Signed Up For A Site To Download Something That Probably Won't Even Work Ever Again Because The Creator(s) Haven't Updated It In Years
when I try to set an application it says no such file exception: dx11proxy64.dll any one know a fix?
aaaah it did nothing but uninstalled ReShade, fucking awesome software WOW!!!!
software works without problems and is very simple to use
To everyone who struggles, this works 100%, trust me, even if this comment is old. You just need to download these files, no matter the game you want to play:
https://www.nexusmods.com/madmax/mods/56?tab=files&file_id=240

It is named perhaps for another game, than you want to play, but files are the same.

1. Download the files from the link
2. Extract it to empty folder
3. Delete .dds files in folder "modded_textures" (if there are not any files, its okay, leave it)
4. All files and both folders including original_textures and (empty) modded_textures move to folder where executable of YOUR game is -> your game directory
5. Download textures that YOU want to use in YOUR game, and move all .dds files into folder "modded_textures"
6. Launch the game and enjoy.

This worked for me instantly, for Assassin's creed Odyssey 1.5.3, after hours of dealing with terrible Resorep bullshit.

Resorep just dont work, it may work for some, but it is pretty broken. This method right here works just fine.
Does not work without a few dozen workarounds, will not use again.
Everyone, who cant open it, just download jarfix n it will solve everything
It works for me in 2025
The .jar file won't run so doesn't work. No point in trying to use this

Great tool, but was wondering whether or not it is possible to reload the textures while in game as opposed to having to restart the game every time I make changes to the texture (NieR: Automata)

Unfortunately for now the only way is to change texture quality in game graphics settings to low and then back to high to force the game to reload textures. Or restart a game.
Didn't work, couldn't be fixed with jarfix. Waste of time
the file DOES NOT come with the windos 10 folder or the dll files needed to make this work
I did everything everyone instructed but still can't open Resorep.
