For the most part the new update works brilliantly but I have noticed that for some mods for arkham knight (this is the only game I use resorep with at the moment) certain skins that have had colours changed can sometimes partially revert back to their original colours. Apparently it has something to do with LOD's? (I'm not a modder so I'm not sure what that means)
software works without problems and is very simple to use
bruterifle is right, here's how I made it work:
- install java 8 (java.com/en/download)
- uninstall any JDK you have installed (you can look up "java" in your apps list and just uninstall it from there, like any other normal app on Windows)
- double click resorep.jar
I was having the issue where you double click on the Resorep jar file and It was not doing anything.

Fixed this by downloading:

Java SE Runtime Environment 8u381

And

Java SE Development Kit 8u381

Also used Jar fix after downloading both of these and it seemed to fix the issue for me.
Make sure you don't have JDK intalled, ONLY install JRE x64. Otherwise Resorep.jar will attempt to use JDK and will fail to launch.

Love this tool, i've been using it to edit some games.
Sadly it doesn't work with injustice 2, would you happen to know why by any chance ?

Thank you! Regarding the Injustice 2 - probably incompatible with the game. It turned out that the tool has a very limited compatibility :(

Trying to open up MC:SM S2 with resorep 1.7.0. Fresh install and it wont open. 64 bit ticked.
Just do what this Guy says. The Win 10 works to Win 11 "at least for me" No jar fix need simple rename the "sample" to "Resorp" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2RTbd4HxHCI
When I add batman ak file and then open it with mods it crashes then i delete the files d3d11 and ori d3dd11 and the other ones it opens but theres no mod
Worked for me once, but when I updated Java to 64 bit so I could run a 64 bit game through Resorep, I couldn't open Resorep. To elaborate: It told me that the game would crash if I tried to run 64 bit on a 32 bit Java, so I updated it, and now I cant at all. I am currently running a 64 bit Java Windows 11 system, and I have been trying all year to figure out how to use it, as this seems like an amazing program.. If you could update Resorep for Win 11 64, and 32 bit support, that'd be fantastic.
Try running the jar file via cmd as admin: 1.- Run cmd as admin. 2.- go to the directory were the resorep file is located, using cd. 3.- type: java -jar resorep.jar. 4.- It should work, it worked for me
took me a few hours to figure out but to run this, follow these steps;

1. Install every version of visual c++ from this website docs.microsoft.com/en-us/cpp/windows/latest-supported-vc-redist?view=msvc-170
2. install the latest version of 64 bit windows 10 java from this website java.com
3. download resorep and extract in a tools folder
4. in the windows 10 folder in resorep, create a text document and rename it to "run.bat"
5. edit that .bat file and paste in this "javaw -jav resorep.jav"
6. Save and close
7. Run the .bat file by double clicking
8. Wait while it executes
9. use the .bat to run resorep at all times
I love to mod my Assassin's Creed Syndicate and I did the correct steps to mod it but my game just won't launch without any warning and if I use 32bit for the path, the game will launch but there is no mod. Is there anyone that can help me?

While using the mods with Batman Arkham Knight, I am experiencing a huge hit in the performance the difference goes from 60 to as low as 10fps.

Are you using the 1.7.0? I know that there were huge performance issues in earlier versions. I fixed the majority of them in 1.7.0. At least I hoped so.
Can't get this to run with Reshade. Have tried numerous things like renaming dxgi.dll to d3d11.dll, etc. Really annoying I have to choose between between shaders or texture mods. Does anyone know a fix?
